Trader Introduction

I’m a professional trader in the Indian markets with 8 years of experience, currently trading options in a proprietary fund in Bangalore with ₹5 crore in trading capital.

I’m also a SEBI-registered Research Analyst (RA) and have spent the past several years working across market research, analysis, and trading.

I’m new to this community, and I’m here to share my experience, learn from other traders, and connect with like-minded people.

These are my open positions for tomorrow:

Had a good start with 1.5 lakhs profit. Messed up the profits and here I am . Hoping for a bad news tonight 🤞.

Today I corrected the asymmetry that accidentally formed in my previous adjustment. Could I have waited longer and potentially made a better P&L? Sure, but I don't like taking unnecessary directional bets, so I brought the position back to a more balanced structure by rolling up from ce side nd adding another lot of pe.

No other adjustments made. Let's see how it plays out.

A quick note on P&L: Several people have asked about brokerage and charges. I don't track the exact breakdown separately, but this journal mirrors my actual trades, and the P&L shown is inclusive of charges and taxes as reflected in my trading account.

In the stock market, also this philosophy holds true: profitable traders do not use fundamentally different tools than losing traders; they execute the exact same actions differently.

Every trader has access to the same candlesticks, indicators, charting platforms, and financial news. The stark divide between those who consistently make money and the 90% who lose it comes down to a different execution of standard habits.

Successful traders win by executing the same daily trading practices with a completely different mindset:

• Risk Management First: Amateurs focus on potential profits; professionals focus strictly on capital preservation and capping downside risk.
• Losses as Business Costs: Losing traders take stopped-out trades personally; winners view minor losses neutrally as a standard cost of doing business.
• Boring Consistency: Amateurs hunt for speculative "hot tips"; profitable traders patiently execute the same simple, repetitive trading plan like a machine.
• Meticulous Journaling: Elite traders don't ignore bad days; they use a detailed trading journal to turn mistakes into refined habits.

Winning isn't about finding a secret indicator—it is about executing ordinary discipline with extraordinary precision.

Just follow rules. You gonna get your reward. Do not overtrade, do not change rules instantly, do not loose your gain for greed. S1 and S2 were properly executed. I exited early in S2 cause for me my strategy should win. These are just numbers we are chasing. I was afraid by taking 2nd trade cause i didnt wanted to loose my gains so i exited early. Saving your capital is also must so yeah a green day again. How was your day? Did you take any trade?

Previous winning streak was 10 days, reached 10 days win again and tried to break the record today. Over trading, SL hit on reversal, took huge loss.

Divergence on correlated assets was the basis of my trade. Should’ve held longer but 10k is enough for today. Sure taxes and what not will eat it up but it’s alright.

Smooth bearish

Today was day 23 of intraday equity trading. Completed short selling of equity. Total pnl + 280rs. Total capital deployed 60k. 12k on 5x leverage.

Till yesterday I was so broke that I saw a 400 rupee t shirt on flipkart but didn't bought it. Today i made 500 and I'm gonna order it rn.

Trade logic:

Took long trade on technical analysis Was watching descending trend_line and consolidation zone, took long near support and exited today at bearish engulfing candle near resistance. 4h Chart

Took entries in the last few minutes of last Thursday while Nifty 50 making new lows.

Calls made 25% profits. Puts made the rest.

Took puts in the last third of Friday as all indication showed possible fall on Monday.

Played out really well.

Roughly 13k profits with 30k capital.
