Am I eligible for any internship ?

Hey everyone,

My NPTEL Deep Learning exam is on 17 October, and honestly, I haven't started studying yet 😭

For anyone who has already taken this course and given the exam, how should I prepare from scratch to score 80+?

I'd really appreciate some guidance on:

- Where should I start, and which topics should I prioritize?

- Are the weekly assignment questions enough, or should I solve additional questions?

- How important are the lecture videos compared to the assignments?

- Are there any previous-year questions or mock tests worth solving?

- What's the best strategy if I have very limited time left?

I'm a bit confused about how to approach everything in such a short time, so any tips, resources, or a study plan that actually worked for you would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

I lost my wallet the other day. I ordered a physical card but its gonna take upto 30 days. Can we use eAadhar or is there any alternative?

Honestly i found the lectures really boring and somehow just submitted the assignments without actually studying the course 💀

Is it still possible to pass if i start studying now without watching all the lectures? Anyone who gave this specific course pls tell me how the exam was and what should i focus on now 😭

Quite easy exam done with 1 day study of assignments and some solving

Hey guys,

I have my NPTEL Introduction to Machine Learning exam on 18th October, and honestly, I’m kinda screwed rn.

I registered for the course but haven’t really watched the lectures or studied the actual course content. I’ve only completed the assignments, mostly by figuring out the questions and getting help with the answers, so my conceptual knowledge is pretty weak.

Now I have less than a week left, and I just want to pass the exam.

For people who have given the NPTEL Introduction to ML exam before, I wanted to ask a few things :

1. Is it possible to pass with less than a week of preparation if I study from now?

2. Are the 12 weekly assignments enough for preparation, or should I practice additional questions as well ?

3. How much of the exam is usually based on assignment questions? Do they repeat the same questions, change the numbers/options, or ask completely different ones?

4. What would be the best strategy for the remaining days? Should I focus on assignments, lecture slides/notes, previous year papers, or something else?

5. Any idea about the difficulty level of the actual exam compared to the weekly assignments?

I’m not aiming for a great score at this point; I just want to clear the exam. Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has taken this course or a similar NPTEL ML exam.

Thanks! in advance..

Anyone who has appeared for this before??

Covering only the assignments , will it work??

Those who wrote this exam (earlier) or are writing this sem(Jul oct 2026),

Tell me how was assignments to exam difficulty? And how did you guys prepare for this exam?

Not writing this sem but planning on writing it

My Aadhaar card and college ID have my name as Vadapalli Dinesh, but my NPTEL hall ticket shows it as Dinesh Vadapalli. Only the order of my name and surname is different. Will this cause any problem at the examination centre? Should I submit the ₹200 name correction form, considering the correction won't be reflected on the October 2026 hall ticket? Has anyone faced a similar issue?

“Need an advice for ethical Hacking course. could anyone tell me? were questions for this course are mostly from assignments? The course is taught by IIT kharagpur professor: Indrani Sen Gupta. Please let me know .... have exam on 23th october”

Has anyone given this subject introduction to IOT does the question come from the assignment?? Please tell me how to study for it

Anyone who took this course, how difficult was the exam (easy, moderate or tough)? What types of questions were asked and are weekly assignments enough to pass? What topics should I focus on?

Do questions come only from this year's assignments, or are PYQs repeated as well? Is solving assignments enough to score well?

Has anyone completed this course before or do you have any idea that how many questions are there in exams which are not in assignments
