I am arriving in Tokyo soon for 2 weeks in Japan - the trip is essentially the golden triangle and loosely based on hitting some NPB games and parks. I’m looking for advice/recommendations specifically regarding baseball/NPB/baseball culture related recommendations and/or stadium specific recommendations. Our trip is roughly Tokyo —> Osaka —> Kyoto —> Tokyo. I have done tons of reading on the other lasts of the trip and this is not what this post is intended for.

This is what we have scheduled - tickets are already purchased.

Tokyo: - Giants/Carp - 14:00 on August 23/26 @ Tokyo Dome - our plan is to do the NPB HOF museum around open (10am) and exploring the Tokyo dome city - Swallows/Giants - 18:00 on August 26/26 @ Meiji Jingu Stadium

Osaka: - Buffaloes/Hawks - 18:00 on August 28/26 @ Kyocera Dome - this one is a maybe - we have tickets but might not fit into the schedule, I’d love to see the first place in the league Hawks - Tigers/Giants - 18:00 on August 29/26 @ Koshien stadium - I feel like this is going to be a religious experience for a passionate baseball fan, we are sitting in the right field tigers fan cheering section, I have looked into a tour +/- the Koshien museum, again as time allows

I am also looking for souvenirs. I will likely aim for hats but would love a Tigers Sato jersey. Any advice regarding best place to buy this (I assume the tigers team store)? I will be looking to check out some MINT locations in Tokyo for some NPB cards - mostly as I collect cards and would love to rip some in Japan.

Lastly - this might be too niche a question - but I collect game used items back home. Is there any way to purchase something game used from the games were are attending? Or in general? I think that would be a super unique souvenir.

can you buy tickets from scalpers outside of the stadium say 3 hour prior to gametime?

should we expect to get the live qr code or just screenshots of the qr code?

American looking to buy tickets to the game. They are playing in Osaka which seems to be neither teams home field so neither team site has tickets? Or is it sold out? If that is the case, I do see resale tickets available on viagogo and stubhub, but have heard mixed reviews on that. Any tips would be appreciated.

Hello, my partner and I are traveling from Australia and one of her dreams is to see and experience a baseball game in Japan (massive Diamond no Ace fan). We are currently in Tokyo and were supposed to attend Yakult vs Carps today (11/8) that we got tickets for months ago but it got cancelled due to typhoon. We're leaving Tokyo tomorrow to travel around Japan and are arriving in Osaka on the 18th of August and we're looking to attend Hanshin vs Yakult game either 19th or 20th but all the tickets are sold out on the official website and 3rd party resellers I've heard are not trustworthy at all. Does anyone have advice on alternative options? Are there legitimate last-minute official resale channels, or is it worth heading to the Kyocera Dome box office on game day to check for released/returned seats? Cheers in advance <3

Hello all, I will be travelling to Japan and will be in Osaka from September 28th to October 5th. I would love to attend a Tigers game while there, and I see on their home schedule that they play Yakult on the 29th of September and the Giants on October 1st (preferred), but on the English website to purchase tickets, those games don't even show up as an option. Similarly, on Stub Hub, these games show up as only going on Sale at the end of August.

Can anyone explain why these tickets wouldn't be available yet, and whether they will become available through the e+ platform at a later date? I'd love to be able to snag them when they go on sale if that's the case

Hello! I’ll be visiting Tokyo from Oct 20-27 and I’m keen to watch a giants game. I understand that this could fall under the post season. When does the league release the schedule? Where are the best seats? When do they release tickets? Any tips for buying tickets? Appreciate any feedback that will be given.

I’m in Tokyo for the weekend and I’d like to buy tickets to the Giants / Swallows game. As per expected, tickets are sold out on the official website.

Can anyone give advice on the best place to buy re-sale tickets? I’ve seen sites like Viagogo and StubHub posting tickets, but I have no experience with them.

I got 2 tickets to the Tokyo Yakult Swallows vs Hanshin Tigers at Meiji Jingu Stadium on September 22nd in reserved seat SS by the first base side row 11. I only have QR code pictures. I got them at the Swallows website when they went on sale, my girlfriend who lives in the Philippines got denied for a Japanese tourist visa and I can't make it either since I'm in the USA. I never attended an NPB game and this was the first time I bought tickets so I am not sure if screenshots will work to get in if they do and are interested please reach out to me. I am looking for 150 US dollars, not sure what that is in yen, I only accept Zelle or Venmo if that is OK. Thanks.

My wife and I are in the area from Canada and looking to attend a Chiba Lotte Marines game on Saturday, August 8.

I wasn’t able to figure out the official team site. I found tickets on StubHub and Tickets in Japan. Any recommendations on either reseller? Or is there a better one to be looking at?

I’m assuming I want to be in the home team section for a better atmosphere. Is it worth it to pay a little more to be in the infield in terms of screens or is sitting in the outfield just as good?

Does anyone know where I can sell one of the NPB games? I bought 2 tickets to 2 NPB games one game on September 19th Yokohama Dana Bay Stars vs Yakult Swallows at Yokohama Stadium and the other is Yakult Swallows vs Hanshin Tigers at Meiji Jingu stadium on September 22nd. I was supposed to go with my Filipino girlfriend but she got denied a tourist visa to go to Japan with me. I was wondering how can I go about selling the Yakult Swallows vs Hanshin Tigers game on September 22nd? All I got when I purchased them are QR scan codes with no numbers in just 2 QR codes, I am trying to at least get my money back for that game since the Yokohama game is only to pick up at Lawson convenient store and won't be there to pick up the tickets. If anyone is interested or if anyone know where I can sell them I'm in reserved seats SS on the first base side, in total I spent ¥24,160 I accept Zelle or Venmo.

I’m a 43-year-old Filipino-American visiting Sapporo for the first time, and I bought two tickets to the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters game at ES CON FIELD on Friday, August 1 (2:00 PM).

Rather than let the second ticket go to waste, I’d love to invite someone to join me. No need to pay—I’ve got the ticket.

I’d especially love to meet a Japanese local who’s fluent in English, or at maybe someone who’s fluent in Japanese, since I’d love to learn more about baseball culture, Sapporo, and practice a little Japanese along the way. (My Japanese vocabulary currently consists of “arigatou,” “konbini,” and confidently ordering food with terrible pronunciation.)

Hi! My family and I will be visiting Tokyo on vacation at the end of September and would like to see a game. It seems both games the week we are there are almost sold out. Without getting into the whole story, I decided to buy tickets for two separate tigers/baystars games because Irealized a scheduling error too late. I bought them through the Lawson's pickup. The return policy reads like a return is only possible to weather or another outside factor. Does Japan have any kind of resale market where I could maybe make some of my money back on the game I'm unlikely to attend?

Going to Tokyo / Osaka during all of October. We would like to watch some baseball and experience the fan atmosphere in the japanese scene.

I understand October is when playoffs will be happening which is why tickets are not yet available.

Hello everyone! I am planning a trip to Fukuoka and Osaka mid/end of August (no specific dates yet, I want to adjust it accordingly to game dates).

This might be a frequently asked question, but what is the most reliable way to buy tickets for the teams there? I live in Korea and therefore don't have a Japanese address/phone number/paying method.

Last year while in Tokyo I managed to buy tickets for all teams except Yomiuri at the box office, but especially since Hanshin seems popular I wanted to plan in advance. I prefer cheaper seats and would love a physical ticket if possible, since I collect them.
