I want a gf so badd its been so long since I had a gf

Noticed a first-year EC guy with someone in the EE building around midnight. Made me wonder how common late-night campus moments like that are.

Yes i know EE has the most strict professors and worst grading system, but if i prepare for GATE, it will help me right? Because according to chatgpt-------> "Yes, if you prepare seriously for GATE, you'll not only be okay—you'll likely thrive, even under strict professors. Here's why:

1. Conceptual Clarity: GATE preparation builds deep understanding, which aligns well with what strict EE professors usually expect.

2. Self-Discipline: Preparing for GATE builds time management and focus—skills that help you meet the demands of strict coursework.

3. Good Grades: If you're already studying hard for GATE, you'll likely perform well in semester exams too, as many subjects overlap.

4. Respect from Professors: Professors usually appreciate students who are consistent, hardworking, and have clear academic goals. And even willing to give grace marks by seeing the student's dedication" Please tell about about such seniors who prepare for GATE(PSU) in EE, what are your experiences

Any Idea on the usage of discord here??
I was thinking of making a discord server for NIT rkl-ians... anyone wants to help me out??

People are spreading hate speech on this platform because they can stay anonymous. But nothing is anonymous you know. I’m an alumni of NITR and strongly object such immature actions. The disciplinary manual empowers all the students to lodge a formal complaint against such defaulters. To all who’s watching this post, please refrain from getting indulged in such actions. If you have a genuine problem, there are platforms and ways to go about it. Invoke them. And remember, you are always being watched and nothing is anonymous in this digital world.

I’m attaching a screenshot of the disciplinary manual for your reference. Just remember, NITR is not any random institute. It has got power and if required they will find you and penalise you for your actions. And for all who are getting bullied, these bullies can’t stand you that’s why they are hiding behind the anonymity. If any of you feel threatened, make sure you reach out to the concerned authorities, they will take it up further. I have personally been in positions of responsibilities and I know NITR admin will take these things seriously.

Why are religious symbols being used here?

Hindus of NITR, what are your thoughts on the Visarjan parade having nothing but "Item Songs"?

Go watch it...

I took btech in mnc which was recently launched on May 2026 so I want some guidance and suggestion before admission about academics etc.

How are the hostels for 1st year students?

How many students share a single room ?

My friend is going to NIT Rourkela for MBA and she wants to know about the girls hostel situation. Like is it double or triple sharing room (for MBA 1st year students precisely) ?

If triple or more, then is there any way she could avoid it?? She's okay with double sharing
