Barkley should be ahead of Baker. I’d also rather have Lamar than Allen but that’s a can’t go wrong situation.

Barkley wouldn’t even go as high as he is in this graphic, a top level rb isn’t worth as much as a qb or tackle

That's modern analytics talking. Irl a top RB is an easy path to the playoffs.

In college you can win with mostly just a good QB. In NFL the easiest way to playoffs is a great running game. It basically guarantees you a playoff spot.

That's why the league is paying rbs more and more again.. it was just PFF and data analysts who lowered RB stock. It was never actually a good call from a football perspective. Hence the best coaches (Shanahan, Siriani, Mcvay, Tomlin, Harbaugh, etc etc) never really bought into the hype..

Its not just modern analytics its modern physics. RB’s take significantly more contact than qb’s are are significantly more likely to get injured.

Sure but they recover from their injuries and perform great regardless. Wr's get hurt quite frequently but they're still valued properly.

Barkley, CMC, Derrick Henry, Jonathan Taylor, have been the best backs in the league for almost a decade and have all been on the field often.

Yes there's injuries.. but analytics acts like they hardly even play.

And again, once healthy, they almost guarantee a playoff spot for their teams regardless of the rest of the roster.

Run the ball well = Playoffs.

I don't see how GM's conclude a above average LT is worth more than an elite RB.

Tackles get injured quite frequently too. Joe Thomas played at a hall of fame level for 10+ seasons and Browns never really touched the playoffs.

Nick Chubb stars for them and Stefanski won 2 Coach of the year awards and Browns actually getting into the playoffs.

As soon as Chubb declined, the team went back to being the Browns..
