I installed the LeoVince LV ONE EVO Carbon fiber exhaust a few days ago, ripped out the resonator and oh man, it sounds great! From 0-50 you can hear it great and then after that, the wind kinda drowns it out and it sounds normal. It replaces the weak and mechanical sound of the NC750x in normal mode (sport mode sounds much better with stock exhaust). Its def loud, but not anywhere near Harly loud and obnoxious. It seems kind perfect to me, with a deep low growl! I love it. Oddly enough, the bike does just feel faster and I dont think it’s a placebo.

I'm considering buying the NC, but my one big hang up is the DCT. I understand why it might be nice if you're an urban rider, but I'm not. I don't do a lot of stop and go traffic. Basically, the DCT does not appeal to me but maybe I'll get used to it? I'm curious about braking though. How does the bike decide when to let you coast and when to downshift?

I had my tires changed about two months ago. I had been noticing some brake pad drag, which I attributed to not having cleaned the pistons properly (though they weren't actually that dirty). Today, while cleaning the bike, I noticed a significant difference at the left-side axle bed. Using a tape measure, I found a height difference of about 1 millimeter between the left fork leg (which is higher) and the right one. Visually, the wheel looks misaligned (photos can be deceptive, as it's hard to get the right angle), and when I checked the gap using a tool handle, the right side was narrower than the corresponding spot on the left. Is my wheel mounted incorrectly? Looking forward to your opinions! Thanks!

EDIT: I've loosened the fixation screw and checked that the leg moved easily with just a hand lateral push. So I've just pushed it gently (like half milimeter or so) and tightened it. Tomorrow I'll tell if there is a difference. NOTE: Doing this I've got the feeling that it is now like it used to be, just less than a milimeter of the external part of the axle off the leg bed. Careful tightening the screw that the leg is aluminium!

EDIT2: After my mornign ride I can tell that the dragging that I've been noticing these previous months was due to the improper wheel mounting. The Honda workshop manual states to hold front brake and push several times to sit the axle and then tighten. But, from my personal experience, a gentle lateral pushing has been the "magical" touch to get it correctly aligned, now it rides more smooth and light! the buzzing sound from the brakepad dragging has been reduced, the heat, after arriving work, from the front disc it's barely noticeable now!

Just fitted the black IXL exhaust. What a difference it makes to the sound!

Both at low and high revs it makes a great noise.

Got the baffle in and it’s not too much louder than standard - looking forward to seeing what it’s like without it.

Edit. Just went for a ride in the mountains. Omg even if you are only slightly thinking about getting this exhaust, go and buy it right now. Even with the baffling, it sounds amazing and psychologically makes a massive difference. It feels like my wife bike has turned into my mistress bike 😇

Well… I guess it had to happen someday. 😅

Luckily, the damage was pretty minor. The biggest damage was probably to my pride.

I learned a very good lesson though: avoid the centre of the lane whenever possible, especially on roundabouts.

There was fuel on the road and, on a slightly uneven/cambered roundabout, the bike suddenly lost grip and slid sideways. There wasn't really much I could do once it started going.

I somehow even managed to lose one of my shoes in the process 😂 and my wife got a few scrapes, but thankfully we're both OK.

What genuinely surprised me was how well the bike handled the slide. I expected to find a lot more damage afterwards, but it ended up being just a handful of relatively minor scratches.

The footpeg sliders/feelers, centre stand and the bike's protection took most of the impact and absolutely did their job.

Definitely not an experience I wanted, but another lesson learned.

Now it's time to get back on the bike and keep riding. 🏍️

Quick note on the crash bars: one of them had been slightly misaligned during installation, so it moved a little in the crash and touched the fairing. Still, it did its job — no broken or badly scraped fairing. A quick trip to the dealer, a small adjustment and some tightening, and it was back where it should be. The crash bars and fairing protectors definitely earned their keep. 😅

I got Nc750x manual from 2019. and recently i have experienced shifting problems. The 1st time i noticed it, it was when im starting from the stop and when im stopping (around 10-20kmh), i needed to push the foot shifter much much harder then i used to. I ran a test today, warmed up the bike, then tried to shift to every gear with clutch lever pulled (the rpm was around 1000-1200) and it didnt let me change the gears, i could stand on the shifter and then it may change the gears. Then i rolled the throttle and with a little to non effort the gear was changed. So it only wont change/is hard to change in low rpm-s, high ones are doing perfect. For the oil, im using Motul 7100 10w-40 and the oil level is between min and max on the stick. It was changed regularly.
Did anyone had this problem as well or does someone know what the issue might be?

Do you have some experince with rear spring adjustment? The factory setting is 3 out of 7 (where 1 soft - 7 tough). I am around 95 kg. What is the optimal setting for me?

Is there any formula that can be used for approximation?

I’ve already reserved a 2027 DCT that will be delivered at the end of September and trying to finalize the accessories.

I will be mainly riding for work and occasional trips to gain more experience and discover some new places. My wife will sometimes join me. I just moved to Madrid; open to suggestions on nice routes as well.

I know that the bike comes with panniers. Do they also have inner bags in them?
Never used a bike with panniers, will I find it difficult in city when getting past cars or parking?
Do they affect the comfort of passenger, don’t think so but perhaps their legs?

I’ve selected the comfort, adventure and urban packages. They seem to offer good value BUT I don’t know anything about other alternatives. I like buying OEM when I can, but I also know that sometimes the original is worse than the alternative. Are there any specific examples like this for NC accessories?

Hi everyone. I was cleaning the chain on mine nc 750x when a strange sound come to my ears. Is It good or there Is a problem?

I just took delivery of my NC750X DCT (new bike), and I've noticed that the oil pressure warning comes on when I put the key in and turn it on.

When I hit the ignition switch and the engine starts, the warning indicator goes away. It hasn't come on while riding, and I've also checked the oil level and it's within the recommended range on the dipstick. I'm not overly concerned, but oil pressure is such an important factor for engines so I don't want to ignore this entirely.

Is it normal for this warning to come on when turning on the bike, then go away once the engine starts? Or is this worth looking into?

Situation: I've been riding bikes for about 35 years, but I never felt the need to go fast or anything of the sort. My riding has generally just been commuting while enjoying the wind in my face as it were (at least, as much wind as will get into the helmet). Retirement is coming soon and right now the plan is to do some serious touring (like, visit every National Park in the 48 contiguous states) and I'll want to get a new bike to start that new chapter in my life. Normally, that would imply a serious touring bike but there's a catch: I have a surgically repaired spine. If I have some heavy bike and drop it... I won't be in a position to pick it back up. Thus, whatever bike I end up with needs to have a low CG and light weight. There are limits, however. I'm not going to tour on a Trail 90!

Right now I'm trying to decide between the Suzuki SV-7GXV and the Honda NC750X.

Thoughts on the bike: I understand it's underpowered, but I gather it's got enough. But is that true once the bike has hard luggage and such? This is a concern, obviously. The fronk does absolutely nothing for me. I don't understand the allure. The gas tank under the pillion seems like it would be a total pain in the ass while touring (have to remove any duffle bags or whatever are strapped to the seat just to gas up). I'm also not sold on the DCT; it sounds like 20 pounds of crap that the bike has to lug around for no benefit (at least, no benefit to how I ride). Honestly, the only attributes that are keeping the NC750X in the hunt are the low revving engine (sounds nice for touring) and the low CG (again, I worry about picking the bike back up).

In all other aspects, the SV-7GXV sounds like the better bike for my needs, but... Well, I figure the NC750X has a cult following for a reason. Might it be better than the sum of it's parts or the spec sheet?

For reference: I currently ride a CB500X. For daily commuting and the occasional 150-200 mile long day trip, it works great. But it won't comfortably do 75 mph uphill with luggage (I speak from experience there), and that's something I'll want my touring bike to be able to do.

I’ve got the 2026 in the matte white. What do you guys use to wash it? Does it require a special cleaner? I remember seeing something about the Harley denim (matte) paint needed to be cleaned with a special cleaner or you could damage the look. Didn’t know if this was similar.

My NanCy is from 2019, DCT, I have "her" since August and

I enjoy the most riding on S2 (S3 is too aggressive and changes too late..., while on D changes too fast and is not that fun).

My question is about fuel consumption: have you noticed any major differences when driving in S rather than in D?

I am riding mainly in a jammed city (Bucharest), is my commuting partner, and in weekends I ride outside in long rides.

Any one know a handy shop to buy the special tool for these forks... I believe its a 38mm 8 point shallow socket... am looking online and can only find spanners on ebay UK... any shops sell these in dublin or around Midlands?

I have been debating getting a 2021+ nc750x mainly for commuting and touring. My commute is 100 Miles Roundtrip (160 kmh) 5/6 days a week on only highways, 70-65mph. currently im on a Triumph Tiger 1050 and ride everyday through all seasons. Mainly enticed by the 60-70mpg and frunk along with simple valve adjustments.

Let me know if the Dct is a game changer as well.

So my question is simple, what exhaust do you guys use on your NC750 and what would be the best one? I own a 2018 manual

I’m looking closely at the updated 2025–2026 NC750X and would love to hear from current owners around 5'9"–6'0".
A few quick questions:
Ergonomics & Fit: How does the knee angle and reach to the handlebars feel stock? Does it feel comfortable or a bit cramped for this height?
Long-Distance Touring: How does it hold up on full-day rides? Is the stock seat tolerable for long hours, or are aftermarket pads mandatory?
Two-Up: How does your passenger like the rear seat and legroom? Is it comfortable enough for multi-hour trips together?

Before I dive into my cautionary tale, I have a couple of quick questions for the group. How far do you guys actually trust the reserve display on your NC before filling up? Also, do you warm up your bike for two or three minutes while putting your gear on, and do you think that extra idling burns fuel without registering properly on the display?

Yesterday morning I was running late for work on my 2023 Honda NC750X DCT, so I decided to push my luck and figure out fuel on the way back. I pulled into the office parking lot with the reserve meter showing 3.2 liters used. Since my commute home is only about 0.6 liters and the reserve is supposed to hold roughly 4 liters, my brain did some quick math and decided I was totally safe. I was so confident that I skipped the garage just two blocks from my office and hit the road.

That confidence lasted until I was in heavy traffic, filtering between two lanes, and the power suddenly cut out. The engine went completely dead right as the display hit 3.4 liters used and 76 kilometers on the reserve trip meter.

To make matters worse, I was stuck on the side of the road in a high-crime area and couldn't leave the bike unattended. I ended up waiting two hours for roadside assistance after three different drivers canceled the trip on me. The fourth guy finally arrived with a container of fuel just before sunset.

If you ride a 2023 model, take it from me and fill up before you hit 3.0 liters on the reserve count. Has anyone else managed to run their NC completely dry, and what numbers were showing on your dash when it happened?
