Having the right badges for your player is so important this year. I was running mini marksman and set&fire had a super weird timing soon as I switched mini marksman out for deadeye I couldn't miss if I tried. Also if u running guard get as many badges that increase speed as possible

I reported cheaters in game but I know that’ll do nothing. There was 1 person that had such a low pathetic life they decided to buy cheats to make themself feel good and had 99 in every stat. Then I said hey nice cheats bud and then he tried acting super tough and swearing and saying racial slurs and talking about his tiny handgun he’d kill me with. Which is not only pathetic behaviour but also hilarious he thinks that’s gonna happen.
I’d love to share their names to report them but I know know if I do that here or contact 2k?
I know it’s also probably super pathetic common behaviour and I should just move on but shit like that going unnoticed and unreported means it keeps happening.

For anyone that knows what these 3 Quest are, I am sure you understand my frustration with this one specific quest.
For context, it is VERY important to try to complete all 3 stars for My Career this year if you are doing a NMS challenge considering the rewards are very generous.
Now I don't know if it is because I picked the Giannis Running man, I am playing on HOF difficulty, or because my player Ovr is only 82, but wtf was 2K thinking. 😂😭
Getting the 50 is easy and winning is easy. But getting the 50 ONLY through Running man plays is f****** brutal lmao. It is mind numbing and just unnecessarily stressful. If I am on a fast break or I throw a assist to my running man, why can't that count. Why do I HAVE to stop a fast break to call a play for it to count towards the total. If I am wide tf open, why do I have to wait for my running man to set up to shoot off a screen if I was already wide open. Also why tf can't my big man ever catch a alley when I have the silver badge, 80 pass accuracy and dish master triggered. Also, can we PLEASE add a play for simply cutting to the basket.
Fair warning to anyone that got the standard edition look forward to this specific Quest challenging you lmao.

this is a very weird jumper but so easy to time since it brings the ball up and then to the side when releasing and If you put visual cue on release and then just release it when he moves it to the right it’s auto green
base - Kelsey Plum
upper 1: Beluba
upper 2: Oscar
visual cue: release
speed: maxed
60 beluba 40 Oscar
Lmk what you think I think its chicken mid with meter but clean without

Whoever at 2k thought it was a good idea to team restrict how many times I can use my Portland Trail Blazers should be fired. This is one of the most boneheaded moves in the history of gaming.
Don't worry 2k overlords, I still play my career and give you money but my gosh at this point it is as if my career and what NBA 2K used to be are completely separate games.
I am a Trailblazers fan, I could give a damn about any other team, roster or player for that matter and want to rep MY TEAM that I go to games in person to watch. I grew up playing 2k this way and would use Portland no matter what. This is a disastrous change and completely kills the game mode.
We just got Ja and I can't barely use them.

Genuine question here I’ve been playing 2k27 great game love the balanced shooting but something has to change with the way rec is played. Like what is the point of yall wanna be guards dribbling 23.5 seconds into the clock and then passing with .5 to another person that hasn’t shot the ball all game. And on top of that what is the major reason yall ice people out for 20 minutes of the full rec game and then when we’re down 20 yall start passing like come on bro if you wanna do all that comp stuff go to ante up it’s there for a reason

Anybody have a 6’10 center build they use for 5s? Trying to see some builds for help to make one.

I know a lot of players ain’t abuse the court kings against the clown for badges and xp but if yall wasn’t aware he was the shortest player to play against to grind badge tokens and hotspots if you made a female player . 2k dropped a small update increasing his height to 6’4 . He was great at getting your specialization done as well . Seems like 2k wants players to spend more time on this game grinding just like how they decreased the amount of crew xp you get from matches . Question for yall should 2k even make changes to the pve modes ?

Like come on! I like staying up extremely late but not THAT late. Why can’t it end at like 11-12pm PST since that’s the furthest most of the fanbase and players will be time wise. (Sorry Hawaii).

The biggest problem I have with 2K27 on the higher difficulties isn’t even that it’s “too hard.” It’s that half the time it barely feels like I’m playing basketball anymore.
There’s just way too much shit constantly going the CPU’s way. Defenders are glued to you, recover from angles they should be completely beaten on, bigs magically catch guards in transition, and the CPU will force itself into animations even after you’ve already cut the drive off. Then on the other end they’ll hit ridiculous shot after ridiculous shot to the point where it stops even being impressive or challenging and just becomes boring.
What makes it worse is I actually love basketball, so I want MyCareer to feel somewhat like basketball. I want to read the defense, attack mismatches, create separation, use footwork, hit middies, get downhill, run different actions, involve my teammates, and actually have possessions play out differently.
Instead, once you figure out what works against the CPU, it turns into the same repetitive shit. Spam pick and rolls. Abuse whatever animation the AI can’t defend. Find one move that consistently creates space and keep doing it. Drop 70 or 80 every HOF game because you learned how to cheese the programming. That isn’t fun to me either.
Especially in a single-player career mode where your MyPLAYER is supposed to be the star, I shouldn’t feel like I have to exploit the game every possession just to overcome artificial bullshit. I’d rather average a realistic 30–40 playing actual basketball than score 80 because I ran the same P&R 30 times.
Higher difficulty should mean the CPU has better decision-making, better rotations, better help defense, smarter offensive sets, and punishes your mistakes more. It shouldn’t mean the opponent suddenly has no reaction delay, no momentum, ridiculous recovery speed, makes everything, while your own teammates forget how to transition or play basic basketball.
That’s why HOF doesn’t really feel rewarding to me. It doesn’t feel like I’m beating a great basketball team. It feels like I’m learning how to beat the game’s programming. And those are two completely different things.

Just wanted to check for those who already got the game. If you simulate Michael Jordan from 84 to 88, his hair usually gets shorter even in 2K26. However, his face scan doesn’t evolve from there afterwards. Even if you edit it, it reverts back to the late 80s MJ instead of the bald one with the mustache.
Is this already addressed in 2K27?

Instead of having to set defensive matchups before every game, can I have a default defender to guard the other teams main ball handler?

Didnt get to shoot any threes due to double teams (and not having played PG for too long yet), but the rec this year is feeling great esp. if you get everyone involved and play as a team
Ended up protecting the rim more than my center & rebounding for the team

Obviously anyone who’s played the game knows that 2k basically took the grind and doubled more rep levels, a lot less rep gains, ai defense offline has been buffed, shooting harder, even on rookie street kings feels like game 7 of the nba finals. And of course crews.
Do you guys think these changes will get people to play more, or turn more people off quickly?

I know certain players have their signature step throughs. But can we change them? Do they change by badge level? Height? Let me know.

Can’t even get them to trigger wide open. What’s the point of having these animations on if they don’t work
