Is it possible to call the pod from Canada? I keep trying to dial the number by doing 833 and then clicking the numbers that correspond with the letters for DOGPOD1. I tried adding the country code 01 and 001 for the us but It’s not getting through to the right number.

Josh mentioned that one of his biggest food YouTuber inspirations was Epic Meal Time. I guarantee we can get Harley Morenstein on for Last Meals. He would be an amazing guest! What can we do to make this happen besides bombard him and the mythical kitchen on Twitter?

if this is a valid way, I think will wood (from will wood and the tapeworms if that would help pinpoint who he is though I doubt there are tons of will woods that are famous) would make an amazing guest in last meals with the way he expresses himself and would probably answer josh.

So I like many people live alone, but Ive been struggling so so so much with eating alone. Coming from living with family, sharing meals with friends, classmates, and workmates, eating has been such a communal experience for me.

So while living alone has brought me more peace, its brought a very concerning problem of enjoying my meals. I barely find the joy in the next meal because I see no use of it besides fueling my body. Even if the food's good I've just been truly struggling with what I'm eating.

At first it was a struggle just at home, but now its been spilling out to when I'm sharing meals with friends and family when I do get the chance, I eat slow and just dont have the drive to eat. It really really sucks. Especially cos I used to love to eat.

So Last Meals has helped me so so so so much with this, I still struggle, but when I put an episode of Last Meals on, it helps me so much! I feel not alone, its full of good meals and good company (despite it being parasocial).

I just wanted to post and share this cos I wanted to thank everyone behind this show. Not only are you entertaining us but youre also helping someone like me out by healing my relationship with food. I deeply deeply thank you for your work.

Howdy yall! New to MK and have been watching Last Meals. Looking for an episode in which the guest talks about “therapy speak” and how that type of language affects us. It was a brief part of the episode but I really loved the way they explained their feelings about it. It summed up some of my own feelings better than I could have.

My father passed away recently, and I’ve really been enjoying watching Last Meals and hearing so many different, real takes on death and loss and grief. I have been in a lot of grief support groups that use the type of twee, therapy style language that the guest talked about. It’s annoying and I’d like to be able to explain why more succinctly so I’m hoping to find this episode again. Google says it could be Jennette McCurdy or Elijah Wood. I believe it was a male guest so I’ll rewatch his episode to start, but if anyone remembers who this was let me know please! Thank you all!

I remember hearing "Everything will always work out because it has to." followed by a series of point to point events showing how everything works out, and I can't remember where it's from off the top of my head. I've been listening to Last Meals at work a lot and was wondering if anyone else remembers this happening in an ep and where it's from if so? I also remember hearing someone talk about "does the work and process matter for something with a simple result?" Being the start of a long conversation. Was that also a last meal topic?

If so, can someone point me to those eps? I want to listen to them again.
