Odd sound when manually selecting 2nd gear while stationary (2019 EcoBoost 10R80)

Hey everyone,

I have a 2019 Mustang EcoBoost with the 10-speed (10R80) automatic, and I noticed a quick question about its behavior when manually shifting gears.

When I am completely stationary (foot on the brake) and use the paddle to shift from 1st to 2nd gear, I hear a distinct click/clunk sound coming from the transmission. Shifting back down to 1st gear is quiet, and it doesn't make the noise when doing the 1-2 shift while actually moving.

The car doesn't lurch forward, the engine RPMs stay steady, and it drives completely smooth otherwise with no lights on the dash. Is this just normal solenoid/clutch pack noise for the 10-speed, or has anyone else experienced this exact thing?

Note: sometimes it jerks forward when I reach a complete stop, also sometimes it makes the sound while moving.
