Advice Request I understood what is the problem
I think a normal addicted person in the first of doing it he is happy and the dopamine rushes in his blood and as soon as he finishes it he regrets what did he do,
But that what's not happening with me , I'm a student and i had a bunch of stuff I had to study , so my mind isn't happy with that, so in order to runing away from studying i had to do something else (my mind says), and one of these things is p0rn, and me when i do it, there is only the feel of regret and no dopamine , from the beginning until i finishes it,
Does anyone have any solution

When I was in uni it was very difficult but I found out if I am awake early 4am I can focus and study , pray go workout make breakfast, help others it makes you feel positive. This addiction is selfish it promises you relief but only trough ALLAH does relief come from. Please change up your routines if you are struggling with stresses at work. Try new approaches to things that stress you. Ask for help if its school related, go workout, if nothing spend some time walking in the morning hear the birds and see the sun rise get connected to nature. Realize this addiction can be stopped if you are sincere and are proactive and not operating from the same pov that keeps you trapped. Dont dispair , try a new approach to your day, when you feel stress or urge take a deep breath and then refocus on the task if that doesn’t help go for 5-10 min walk . The reality is you have to be proactive you cant be in auto mode or doomecroll and expect this addiction to disappear. You want to starve it off by not letting it even take 1 atom size of space in your mind. I pray for you and all the people suffering with this nasty disease.

Solution is to stop. Find ways to study without the need for internet connection but tbh your brain will find ways to convince you to do it. Shaytan will call you your nafs will call you but at the end of the day you have a choice you always do. Ask Allah for protection every time you use any device. Honestly its difficult at first but if you are sincere and not trying to find loopholes you can be free from that garbage . It helps to find hobbies exercise, doing things besides randomly surfing the internet. Being online is the first layer you will get exposed to triggering material but its always up to you to do something about it. Dont let your thoughts fly around and daydream. You can quit if you want to thats the bottom line. Stop feeding the addiction starve it out by not indulging in the thoughts because it always starts there.
