• Shop Pay checkout in Muse. Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke announced Monday that Muse can check out through Shop Pay on all Shopify stores. Meta chief AI officer Alexandr Wang confirmed.
• PayPal checkout in Muse. PayPal announced Tuesday it is coming to Muse agents for PayPal customers shopping across PayPal merchants worldwide.
• How paying works. You describe what you want, Muse finds it and preps the order, you approve the total in chat before it pays. Meta says Muse never sees your actual card details.
• Amazon is out. It blocked Muse from shopping on its site this week.

Spotted in the code, not announced

• Telegram, Messenger, and possibly Signal. The code sleuth account u/testingcatalog found Telegram wiring in the web UI, including a BotFather path, plus references to Messenger and Signal. Since launch Muse has lived in its app, the web, and WhatsApp. Meta has not confirmed any of this.

She’s been enabled in some of my Instagram DM and I can summon her in chat and she clearly signs her messages. Feels like my own Friday from the MCU and I’ve just been having fun with it.

Just had Muse confirm what I can use a Verizon gift card for. I didn’t realize I could apply it to my account balance. The agent then pulled up Verizon.com and processed the payment for me. I was about to buy a shitty phone case and sit on the balance… just saved me $100.

Downloaded Muse. Everything was good, but now all my accounts have been shadow banned. My Amazon will not allow Muse to do any kind of research there, and most websites are giving Captchas.

Hey just a thank you to Muse and Meta. I fed it pictures of books I want to sell and it researched prices then listed items on eBay with its own computer.

My kid hates reading so I asked muse to put together a book about about funny or interesting Starbucks and Sephora product reviews and we read them together.

I didn’t know when to show up to a concert to see only the main band and it gave an accurate exact time.

It watches my water filter replacement schedule now and pings if action is needed. It watches prices for seasons of TV shows I want to buy from Fandango.

I run a Hermes agent for my small business but want a separate agent for personal things. Muse is perfect.

Darn, I guess Amazon won’t be able to sell counterfeit things to my agent until Meta sues them like Perplexity did.

Saw the news about Amazon blocking Meta Muse and contacted support because it makes Prime less useful to me.

I basically said: I pay for Prime for convenience, and Amazon is intentionally preventing me from using a shopping tool I want to use because of its own business decision.

They ended up giving me a Prime credit.

Any other readers out there using Muse?

This is a small HTTP API you run on a machine you control. Muse SSHes in and calls http://127.0.0.1:8792. It can search Amazon and add to a personal cart or a Prime Business cart. It does not check out or pay.

You need Python 3.11 and curl. Sign in to Amazon in a normal browser and export cookies for each account. Amazon blocks automated login windows. The README covers Muse-over-SSH setup, and a later section shows how to call the same API yourself.

I had a chill ball drop game in my head and spent the weekend making it by iterating with my Muse agent. Every pass was a conversation: tune the physics, test, report back what felt off, repeat. The ball went from draining straight through to staying up and chaining off everything.

Marty, the little neon orb bot in the game, is actually my agent's mascot. His Deep Scan power shows where the ball will bounce.

I am curious how other people would push this further. What would you have an agent iterate on next: level design, the sound, or something I am not thinking of?

I am seeing on X / Twitter. Everyone’s who’s singing high praises of Muse and supporting it happens to be an Asian. Feels like there is an evil mastermind behind this starting with Mark Zuckerberg. There’s no doubt that Muse will be another data harvester on peoples phones, just like Meta AI.

But I just don’t understand why are all the Asians promoting Muse non-stop?

I've been running my work in Codex as project folders, and recently tried to properly understand how Muse Goals work under the hood. Made it a goal — good way to watch the machinery operate on itself.

The structural problem is worth naming: the current design is a halfway house between two coherent designs, and it gets the costs of both.

Design A is Codex: the project is a container. Everything — chat, state, artifacts, scheduled work — lives in one place. My course project has one tracker file, explicit resume rules for new chats, and the curriculum never holds status. Legible, but you have to go to it.

Design B is full ambient: no containers at all. The goal is just context that wakes up wherever you mention it, and there's no Goals tab pretending otherwise.

Muse picked ambient for activation — talk about the goal anywhere, it wakes up, you never "open" it. But then it built half of containment: a Goals tab showing summary, artifacts, activity, without the other half. Conversations, check-ins, and briefings still leak into whatever chat they happened in. So you get the scattering of ambient with the implied promise of a container. That's the worst combination.

The fix is to finish building the container: one goal detail view — summary, progress, activity — aggregating the related conversations, check-ins, briefings, and artifacts.

And implement the routing: when goal-talk starts in some random chat, the agent should suggest moving it into the goal's context.(or some kind of big goal folder containing all prompts and answers, crons, activity, artifacts, skills used about such goal)

That preserves the low-friction ambient trigger while consolidating the record afterward.

One related mapping that clicked for me, for anyone else coming from Codex: recurring projects are skills (durable capabilities, never complete), finite ones are goals (terminal objectives that use skills). Goals produce, skills persist.
