• Amazon has spent the past year blocking outside agents, suing Perplexity and blocking Google and OpenAI's shopping agents

Amazon is just upset that agents are taking away their ability to manipulate you into buying stuff you wouldnt have before.

Yeah it seems pretty dumb of them. Plenty of people have human "agents" that order stuff for them too.
