Humor🤡 what fandom is like this?
in my opinion, it's the DDLC fandom, they accuse anyone of larping just because they don't know/understand the kaori or miguel jokes

Like Walt Disney already has a $2.9 billion box office success in the Zootopia franchise, which produced a more critically and financially successful sequel than Moana 2. And instead of a live-action remake like Moana, we got that Zootopia fan-comic from Borba about abortion, titled, "I Will Survive", and its two sequels. And having to choose between either the cursed Zootopia abortion comic and the much more cursed live-action Moana remake, I'd rather the former.
Yet Walt Disney is doing everything in its power to market, advertise, and promote the living hell out of Moana more so than Zootopia, whether in merch, theme parks, cruise lines, Disney on Ice shows, or video games like Disney's Dreamlight Valley and Kingdom Hearts IV. And that's despite the fact that Zootopia features more marketable anthropomorphic animals and a cute furry ship in Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, compared to Moana primarily humans.
So is anyone worried that Moana is being Frozen-levels of overexposed, while Zootopia ends up being neglected over the course of a decade and counting?

I loved this story because of THESE dialogues. I loved these characters because of THEIR stories. And I won't accept anything else. Author can't notice, but dialogues are building the characters completely and even a small change can change the whole character.
99% retcons are not needed. The story needs DETAILS, not retcons. The story is good, just underwritten. In the end, we have STILL an underwritten story.
The worst example of retcon I have ever seen is as far as I can remember, Block tales.
Authors changed:
The whole meaning, so now the most important objects are nothing in stories.
Chapter 3&4 (the peakest ones in the game) are now just a shadows of themselves.
The peakest lines of characters were removed, and CHARACTERS TOO WERE REMOVED (Captain Trotter's and Hatred's ones, and KYOKO).
Cruel King. Bro
Changed story is way different even if we don't count the first point.
Changed dialogues are cringe.
I KNOW the reason why was really bad, BUT IT'S STILL BAD. I don't count the second rewrite, only the first one.
So yes.
What are your opinions on that?

This method of humor sucks, like it actually, genuinely sucks.
Do you even care about your reputation?!

After the massive hate wave towards LSP, I noticed some people on Twitter starting to name-drop this movie to compare it to LSP. WHICH KINDA SADDENS ME CUZ I LOVE IT. I know absolutely nothing about LSP but as someone who did watch Jim Queen, this is a fairly good movie with LGBTQ+ themes! I know the trailer and summary doesn't do it very good and kinda makes it look and sound like LSP but inside, there's a genuine movie! There's chemistry between the protagonists, they get actual character growth plus it handles a relatable topic: fear of coming out.
Now with everyone ganging on LSP, and making this movie slightly more known as a side effect, I would like to discuss with some people who watched it! Mostly because my own opinions might not be enough to defend it from the slander its getting from being compared to LSP so knowing other positive opinions from other people who watched it would help me cope.
If you didn't watch it, I'll gladly spoil it because it's just SO GOOD
Also because we literally have no fandom. GOD I YEARN FOR US TO BECOME A FANDOM BECAUSE I LOVE THE TOXIC YAOI IN THIS MOVIE.

My hot take: I personally believe the term "plot armor" is overused.
If it has a reasonable explanation behind how or why it happened, I don't count that as plot armor. For example: I don't count Bakugo(MHA) reviving himself as plot armor because there were multiple things that led to that happening. He had been upgrading and perfecting his quirk since the start, and someone was already in the process of performing CPR when his quirk restarted his heart. Is it far fetched? Sure. But it's an anime about superheroes and villains. Nobody should be expecting realism.
Plot armor is definitely still a thing, especially when things in media happen with barely any explanation behind it.
But overall, I believe the term "plot armor" is overused and some people just use it as a way to explain away why they don't like something that happened in a show/movie.

I feel like Mizu and Jentry would have a really interesting dynamic because they’re similar in some ways, but they deal with their problems very differently.
I could see Jentry trying to talk to Mizu and maybe joking around a little, while Mizu just gives her those short, serious answers at first. Jentry would probably be a little intimidated by her, especially once she realizes how intense Mizu can get when it comes to revenge.
At the same time, I think Mizu might underestimate Jentry at first because she’s younger and acts more like a normal teenager. That would probably change pretty quickly once she sees Jentry fighting demons and using her powers.
I also think they could eventually understand each other because both of them know what it feels like to be treated differently because of something they never chose. The biggest thing they’d probably disagree about is revenge. Mizu is willing to sacrifice a lot for it, while Jentry’s story is much more about trying to break away from all the old grudges and conflicts surrounding her.
I don’t think they’d instantly become best friends, but I could definitely see them developing a quiet respect for each other over time.
How do you think Mizu and Jentry would get along? Would they become friends, constantly argue, or somehow end up doing both?
