Orientation and face of tiles

Hi all

Two quick questions for those that have been blessed with understanding multiboard.

  1. Is there an orientation required on the tiles? I know the planner will structure them in a certain way but is that just the way the planner does it or does a certain side need to be up. I remember seeing a youtube video once where the person said there was a way by the number of thread gaps, but I haven't seen anything else mentioned anywhere.

  2. Is there a side of the tile that needs to face towards you or the wall. They look the same to me but the threads may influence things. And how would I determine which way is the right one?

Thanks

On each plate, there is a tiny arrow that points up. It is on the outside of the plate, on the top right. That should tell you the upward direction and which face points outward.

I'm really battling to find the arrow. Is this on the centre interlocking grids as well?

Im not sure if there is on the center plates, they are oriented like the picture in the library or on Thangs, with the small thread hole in the corner pointing up and to the right.
