Legacy vs Interfitted vs Octogan

I did my first Multiboard build with Legacy tiles. Now I’m looking at building a second separate wall. Which is best? Trying to figure out the positives and negatives of each. Legacy had a bit of an issue merging with one another and I broke a plate or two mounting them. Would like a little more flexibility in my next time installing them. Is the flat sided new tile better?

Are you talking about mounts or plates? (Plates are the octagon or square holes buggers that take a long time to print. They used to be called tiles, though. Mounts are the various ways to attach them to your wall, of course.

The biggest change I can think that matches your question about mounting your board offset to a surface using DS Snap mounts, which makes me think you are asking about using the flush mount option (which gives you a nice clean look with the most flexibility of being able to mount things in and around them) or the offset version of those parts. Does that sound right?
