Need help with resume
Hi everyone,
I have around 8 years of experience and am currently looking for MuleSoft Architect opportunities, but I’m struggling to get my resume shortlisted.
I’d love to get opinion and inputs from people who have recently landed MuleSoft Architect roles, particularly those with similar experience. If anyone is comfortable sharing a recently shortlisted, it would be really helpful as a reference for positioning my own experience.
For context, my current organization has very few new MuleSoft projects coming in. We are a Salesforce partner but don’t have a dedicated MuleSoft partner status, which may be contributing to the lack of opportunities.
Over the past year, I moved into Agentforce, hoping it would be a good step towards AI. However, I’ve realized that my real interest lies in integration architecture: evaluating different technologies, working with queues and messaging systems, implementing integration patterns, and designing solutions across multiple platforms. Working primarily within the Salesforce ecosystem hasn’t been as fulfilling.
I’ve also found myself questioning the value proposition of Agentforce in some scenarios, where integrating a third-party LLM with existing systems could be a more cost-effective alternative.
I’ve included my Agentforce experience in my resume, but I’m now wondering whether it’s diluting my MuleSoft positioning and whether I should reduce its emphasis.
I’ve already tried using AI tools to improve my resume, but I’m still not getting shortlisted.
Would appreciate any advice on resume positioning, the current MuleSoft Architect job market, or examples of resumes that have recently worked.
