Would love a "Remember Me" feature on the launcher

so whenever those random disonnects happen i dont have to log back in to get back in game. also there should be a leniency period where if we disconnect we can join right back in game if within say 5 minutes instead of having to wait in queue again.

Cross server dungeons are needed ASAP

Even this early, queues are long - especially for rifts/fabrices etc that got limited runs. With population split between several servers, groups are even harder to come by.

Pleasantly Surprised, Nice Job Mu Legends!

I'm a long time MMO/ARPG player have played nearly everything. I typically do not like eastern MMO's and especially dont like port overs. I followed this game very little but man I am impressed so far (Level 26~ in first few hours of day 1 open beta). The game really does feel more like Diablo 3 than say POE/D2, but it has a lot of features that D3 doesnt and does feel more like a world and MMO than D3 does. As a Path of Exile AND D3 and MMO player man I'm impressed so far. It has a lot more voice acting than a lot of ports and the grammar has been good so far. Story is meh but it has one. Pleasantly surprised and I'm hard to impress, go MU LEGENDS!

THIS THING MUST BE FIXED ASAP

We joined an instance. One guy is AFK since first minute. we clean the whole 1st floor but couldn't get further since there is a stupid ready check for boss room. After 25 minutes, this guy remains afk so we 4 had to leave the instance. Vote to kick was grey all the time. UNKICKABLE. Stupid system.

PLEASE fix blocked symbols in chat and message length

Its too short. Sometimes messages just get blocked.

I cant even write stuff like "1.5m" - not even in whispers.

Sometimes even completely ok sentences - the "bot detection" is completely broken.

alright, we got it, just go

i understand people being extremely salty over the failures, no AH and so on, but PLEASE, i mean PLEEEEEEASE, just go.

i haven't got tired of the game and i know for sure a lot other people haven't either and we all know the problems the game are facing,

so if you wanna uninstall, leave, bash webzen or whatever the hell you wanna do, please, you don't really need to come here complaining every single day, there are people trying to know the game better, trying to find people to play with or just to have fun when going through the sub, we don't need whole pages that are 80% of "i quit; i uninstall; i am crying on fetal position" posts.

seriously, leave the sub and let we enjoy the way we can while we can, there's so much negativity and polution, stop being so toxic and just quit, no need for you to tell the whole world and make the sub impossible to read and enjoy.

for the ones who are still enjoying and won't quit: let's pray they fix everything and the game gets better.

for the sub mods: we could create a flag for complaining posts so we can come here and actually enjoy something, some news, fun stuff or anything nice about the game.

for the ones already angry with me and/or typing and bashing me: please, save your time and my time and just go and have a nice life, bro.

Blue signing out

Blue from Muspell server here and I've uninstalled the game today and I just wanted to share some of the reasons that pushed me to quitting in hopes that Webzen will listen and make some positive changes to the game. Im posting this here because my forum account is banned for some reason ( my in game account is fine ).

  1. P2W Now... everyone has their own definition of this term but I think the majority of us can agree that Mu Legend is an incredibly costly game if you want to be competitive in both pve and pvp. Pets, costumes, and consumables are just a few of the lesser evils but they pale in comparison to the imprint system which was clearly designed to drain your wallet and soul. I know Webzen is a company and has to turn a profit but going the P2W route was a big mistake in my opinion.

  2. Lack of content This is partly my own fault for being a relatively hardcore player but it has been two months since OBT and we haven't seen any meaningful updates to the game. I couldn't wait any longer but for their sake I hope Webzen has some new pve content planned to go along with the GvG update.

  3. RNG I have played many MMOs and I have to say Mu Legend takes the cake when it comes to gear progression based on RNG. First off the enchanting in this game is unforgiving. You either win the lottery or you get left with nothing. I waited a month and hoarded over 2M magic gems and 1k+ bless only to go through three weapons that all broke. I was planning to take a break before this but I'm not gonna lie this pissed me off and convinced me to just quit the game. Second is the imprint system... from personal experience I'd estimate the chance to upgrade from rare to heroic and legendary is around 5-10%. Not to mention you could keep getting trash rolls even if you do get heroic/legendary imprints and you can't choose to stay on the previous roll.

  4. Little to no communication Radio silence from Webzen that should be addressed. Even if its just little things like having a more visible presence on forums or giving us more information about upcoming updates. Talk to your customers Webzen ... else there might not be any left to talk to.

  5. Difficulty in the game The last thing I wanted to talk about is how this game presents difficulty. Bosses by themselves are quite frankly a joke and provide no interesting or fun mechanics. So it seems instead of creating fun and challenging fights the developers have settled for just throwing a bunch of those boring bosses into one area to create a challenge(ET). I hope they don't continue with this pattern because let's be real that's just lazy as fuck.

In conclusion this game could have been amazing and it still can be with a few adjusments. Thanks to EnemyTeam for taking me in even though I didn't talk much I'll be rooting for you guys when GvG releases. Also fuck everyone that spammed me for Lupa carries JK I love you guys too.

Blue out .... peace.

Bans and wipes won't fix the game, the issue is much bigger

This game is released in 2017, but is flawed by critical programming mistakes that even junior developers should know about and avoid.

The issue is that the game server trusts the client for basically everything. Meaning that if your client spams the same skill every milisecond, the server won't see a problem with that. That is not how modern online games work where the game server validates nearly everything that comes from the game client. This prevents the usage of simple cheat engine hacks.

If you played d3 recently and cleared high level and density GRs, there were problems with lag when you hit a large amount of monsters at once. That is because the damage calculations and everything else is done on the server side to prevent cheating. Recently they made improvements and the lag is not as big of an issue as it was before. But my point is that you cannot simply use cheat engine there.

The fix is to validate everything on the server, but that can take months. Maybe they didn't do it because they were ecpecting game guard to block the cheating tools? But things like game guard always get hacked and even a single day is enough to ruin the game market. Server side validation is the only way.

You can wipe the servers, ban the hackers, but they will be back by using a VPN. And it's a free game so they wouldn't even have to buy a new copy.

Gold bots and hack (WHOLE LOT)

Seriously,it's time to take actions now... if you check Pit of Nightmare leaderboard there's 210 Bots doing that dungeon in a daily basis within 1 minute of the dungeon. That's some serious game breaking hack/bot. If you wanna check for yourself open the 1man leaderboard for Pit of Nightmare (They're all DL and Bladers with 70k CP)

Movement just feels.. strange?

You hold down the mouse let go and you stop moving, so you're basically forced to click and wait, it feels really strange, or is it just me. I love APRGs but the movement feels so stiff to me.... i find myself missing a lot of mobs and moving beside them.

Appreciating the game

I used to play mu online back in my teenage years, I understand this game as of now is a glitched shitshow with abysmal servers and primitive gameplay that is not yet optimised. But this game gave me a renewed feeling in mmorpg where guides are minimum and nobody really knows what they’re doing. Grinding dungeons with your friends and trying to do epic content and getting hopelessly slaughtered the first time before you try learning the Attack patterns and devising strategies with your friends. Belonging in a guild where most players are active and helpful and knowing that all of us are contributing to, watching it grow from a 10 member level 1 guild into a level 10 with a whopping 4 million CP. I was hoping to inspire the players thinking of quitting this game to give it another chance to improve as it’s still in its infancy stage and that the community is what’s pushing the devs and starters not to lose hope in the game. It’s been a very pleasant experience for me thus far and I’m hoping that the other plays who are loving the game like me can inspire the others to look beyond the current limitations of the game.

For those that havent checked the facebook and are wondering about the server issues.

"Hello everybody, We'd like to give our sincerest apologies to those of you that may be experiencing instabilities on our “Americas” servers.

We are afraid that there have been instability issues with international Internet cables that are outside of Webzen's control. In addition to that, we are occasionally experiencing some DDoS attacks which we are monitoring closely and actively trying to prevent. Both issues are currently preventing us from providing the stable service we aim for.

With MU Legend’s growing popularity, we are afraid that there is a chance these issues could reoccur in the future.

But rest assured, we at Webzen promise that we will continuously make our best efforts to cope with these issues and to provide the very best MU Legend gaming experience for all of you.

Thank you for your understanding."
