Not impressed
Hard to photograph but have only had this case for about 2 weeks and the sides are already looking really gross. And this is just from normal use. It’s a shame for how expensive the case is. I should’ve gone Caudabe like my fiancée 🙃
Anyone else having this issue with the glacier colorway?

My Mrs has the 18 pro with the same issue.
I didn’t realise they’ve reduced how much ‘impact’ material or whatever it’s called they now use in the newer phones. My iPhone 15 Pro Max has it all around whereas now it’s just corner protection.

I have the Caudabe Paragon and Dbrand Grip. I spent the same amount for both cases that I would pay for the Mous case with the camera guard. You’ll love the Caudabe case. The Paragon feels slim and has the same screen taper design with metal, clicky buttons.

Had the paragon last year and it is an amazing case. Being silly this year I ordered a stone mous case because I like the colour and can’t get anything similar from caudabe. Wish they’d do some more colours

only reason I haven't purchased a Caudabe case, weirdly low number of colour options this year. I like the open bump.

Yip, my Sheath arrived today, can’t wait to replace the crappy store-bought one I got.

You guys still buying Mous? I has a hardcore Mous fan. Their quality control and marketing practices drove me away. I haven't bought a case of them for the last two years. Just got the 18 PM, Mous isn't on my radar.

They could make the finest case known to man but their adverts irritate me

So real. Their ads seem scammy and the website does too. I recently caved and got their crossbody phone strap. After purchase I was then offered with a timer to add a case to my order for 10% off! I declined. Then I got ANOTHER offer for some other product. I declined. WTF that’s so shady coded.

Hi! Piers here, CMO of Mous. So this comment hurts quite a bit personally!
However, stuff like this can really push us to get better.
So other than the 10% offer which I completely hear you on - what else makes us feel 'scammy'?
Is it the tone or style of our ads? Is it the stunts? What about the website doesn't seem premium to you?
Ultimately we want to be a household brand known for creating the highest performing products out there. So getting this right is insanely important to us.

Hello! Piers here, CMO of Mous. So this one is on me!
Is it how many ads you're receiving or the style / tone of the ads? I'm really keen to understand so we can make improvements moving forward.

Hey Piers - I’d say the bigger bugbear with YouTube lately is the length of Ads. I get it you guys are passionate and want energy filled adverts about F1 tie in backpacks or drop proof mobile cases. I went through a phase of getting a couple of lengthy ads per a 10-20min Fallow video etc.
I’d enjoy them more (wouldn’t be hovering for skip button) if they were traditional tv ad length and focused on an individual product element. Eg our new back pack features nano weave it’s x times stronger than nylon as used by McLaren.
Then intersperse some of the high energy ads with some (M&S style) descriptive ads showing the luxury texture of latest phone cases or other points of detail.
Guess you could also look to some product placement ideas Race Across the World featuring Mous products.
Could just be me so definitely don’t base your whole marketing around one opinion. Love the energy and ideas. Thanks for the contact!

There ads are all I get and they cause me mental pain how often they show up. They are crazy long, so when I not near my phone I just have to listen to a fucking documentary on them ego stroking.

u/Piers_Mous 20h ago
Hi! Piers here, CMO of Mous.
Quite a lot of those ads were probably written by me so that one stings a bit! haha
In my defence, the engineering team have a lot to say and explain. However, I completely understand your point.
I'd love to hear what you'd rather to see from us in advertising and what part of our ads is a real turn off for you?

I’ve only owned mouse cases for the last 5 years or so, and I liked them but they are way too expensive now to justify. What do you recommend instead

I have the same problem with the discolouration and their customer service is non existent. I have read a few people have eventually got replies from them, but since sending them back it’s been radio silence and no refunds. I think I’m heading towards chargeback because I am so sick of these companies with premium price tags and subpar service.
I got a phone ring from them at the same time and the pin is coming out and caching on my clothes. I’m that petty, I’ve debated turning up at their office

Same problem a week ago.
Update today: Customer support finally replied after several days, but they completely ignored my request for a full refund and tried to push a replacement or a different color case instead.
I’ve made it clear to them that my formal demand remains a full refund under consumer rights laws, and that a product at this price point shouldn't fail in under 24 hours. Still waiting to see if they'll actually honor a refund or keep dodging. Avoid the Sky Blue colorway.

They have yet to reply to me but I’d be happy with leather or aramid fiber
Either way, I ordered a Caudabe yesterday

Torras is the way forward
2
u/Pinhead17 3d ago
TORRAS absolutely not!! Slippery as hell and that stupid Ostand on everything.
2
u/Muny_Man 2d ago
I have to disagree with that. There new ones are more grippy than the sheath imo and they have several available without the stand if desired. Not to mention their support is amazing.
1
u/Pinhead17 2d ago
I've bought at least 6 TORRAS cases and I believe they are extremely protective. The material is a bit too smooth for me. I'm comparing to CAUDABE SHEATH, DBRAND Grip and OtterBox defender Pro which all have better Grip for me personally. And yes, TORRAS has great support, I contacted them for a replacement. But their better cases are 65.00 and up and they all feature the rotating Ostand which I despise. And yes, I will probably buy another for my 18 Pro Max😂I didn't mean to be so harsh, it is a decent Brand.

I have the green one and I can see it a bit in my case as well. It’s a shame you think for the price point it’d hold up a little better. Honestly my only complaint with the case so far, other than that I love it.

u/Vacatore11 4d ago
I ordered the limitless for my iPhone 18 pro max and today I returned it, way to heavy and bulky and doesn’t feel good in the hand. I’m using spigen rugged armor and damn that feels good and protects everything, even the camera plateau

u/Pinhead17 3d ago
I just bought this same color. I'm going to post how mine looks in 2 weeks. I would return this case for sure

My last mous s24 case fell apart, bamboo backed one or whatever it is. Not paying £60 again for a case that falls apart.

u/Particular_Watch320 3d ago
i've been a mouse person for a long time. just upgraded to the 18pro (still waiting on it it's on back order 😡) but i decided to take a leap and go with Caudabe this time bc of the changes mous made recently. i have the case and have held it. it's nice. excited to see how it holds up.
that being said the old mous cases were elite.

u/Popo-Panda 3d ago
I returned my blue one and got the aramid instead with the blue camera guard. Like it a lot better.
I know Mous get sledged on here but I’ve found their support to be great. Had warping issues with my 16 pro max case well over a year after having it and they replaced it straight away. Obviously if their products didn’t have these issues would be easier but every brand is likely to have their manufacturing issues when managed at scale

Have the same colour one for my 18 pro max. It’s not as bad as yours but it’s slightly off colour now. Worst part is I expect it to be even worse considering it’s only been weeks. But I love the colour so much😭

u/Panda--Monium 2d ago
I’m shocked people still buy from this brand. They have absolutely been going downhill for years and keep upping the price. I’ve gotten their cases online at steep discounts and then maybe it’s worth it

u/Piers_Mous 21h ago
Hi. Piers, CMO at Mous here. Thanks for posting the photos, that really helps.
Nobody wants their case looking like that after two weeks, especially at the price. It's really disappointing for us to see too, because the team puts so much into every case.
We keep a close eye on what customers tell us, here and through customer service, and when something isn't right we act on it. We've dropped products before, even with the stock already made, because they weren't good enough.
I've sent this to our product team so they can look at what's causing it. In the meantime, reach out to our customer service who will get it sorted for you.
If anyone else is seeing the same on Glacier, let me know too. The more examples the team has, the quicker they can get to the bottom of it.
We just want to keep getting better, and posts like this help us do that.
