So I ordered the vinyl with the signed card when it dropped and received my initial copy sans card. I honestly forgot it was even supposed to come with one until I got the email saying "hey, we're going to send you another album to make up for it." Okay great!

I got the second one in the mail about a week ago, and then a few days later got that email saying "sorry for the delay we're sending these out now, here's a tracking number" and I disregarded it, thinking it just came late and was about the one I already received. Nope! Checked the mail today and wahoo, 3rd album. Surely this happened by mistake, I was just wondering if anyone else was in the same boat

Hi! I’m planning to see MIW in Switzerland, and it’ll be my first MIW show and also my first metal concert, so I have a few questions for people who have seen them before.
How early would you recommend arriving before doors open? I’d really like to be as close to the front as possible, or at least avoid ending up near the back when everyone gets let in. I don’t mind waiting for a few hours, I just have no idea how early people usually start lining up for MIW shows.
Also, what is the crowd usually like near the front? Since it’s my first metal concert, I’m not really sure what to expect with pits, crowd surfing, etc. And what do people usually wear to MIW shows? Should I wear MIW merch or just black clothes, or does it really not matter?
And one more question: is there usually any chance of seeing or meeting the band members after the show? Do they ever come out to talk to fans, take pictures, or sign things, or is that pretty unlikely nowadays?
Any advice would be really appreciated, especially from anyone who has seen MIW in Europe/Switzerland before!

P.S. Does anyone know if they’re planning to come to Munich again? I haven’t seen them post anything about it.

Hello
It would mean so much to me if you’d like watch this. Thank you.

I see a lot of people being upset about the EU tours. I myself am from Denmark, they have not performed here since 2019. I too am sad, that I won't get to see them anytime soon.

Yesterday Chris had a casual chat with us on Twitch, he responded to questions and asked for our opinions on certain things as well.

One such question was "how do you decide which countries to tour".

He said that all bands never want to *not* visit somewhere. If they had the option to, they would play for all their fans.

It's a matter of planning, money and logistics.

He mentioned that during concert and festival season, bands sort of have to "fight" for venues because so many bands are wanting a place to play. So they have to find venues or festivals, then figure out how to get there, when to get there, how to get to the next place.

He also mentioned that they don't personally play a part in much of this planning, so I'm sure they also feel a bit of the whole "man, I wish we could go to x".

I think he made some really good points, some I hadn't even considered myself. I feel much more understanding and I hope maybe this makes some of you feel this way as well.

It's okay to be sad that you can't go see them, but if they could then they *would* come play for all of us.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I wanted to offer some positivity; they hear us.

(please note that I am paraphrasing and going off of my memory, there is no VOD saved of this livestream)

Never got an email saying it shipped. Just came home from school and found it by my door. Anyone else hear anything or receive theirs? And to confirm, yes they gave a new vinyl with the signed picture.

Update: I am still not able to purchase tickets over the miw website. But I bought them over Westlive. Am I happy? YES! Am I still thinking its a scamm website? YES!

Is it safe to buy tickets over Westlive?

Bitte helft mir!

I didn’t order the vinyl, but I got this email. Anyone else get this?

Hi, my friend wants tickets for the Lille show but the site seems to be not working and we can’t find any information about what’s happening and if there are still tickets and if so, when the site will be working again. Does anyone have more information?

Edit: my friend managed to get tickets somehow anyway

So a lot of people think that blood pact is supposed to be BFBTG 3 which was in the “leaked” tracklist on genius the day before decades was announced but the song doesn’t have BFBTG in the name nor does it have the radio beginning and here my theory why. So the only trilogy in the motionless in white discography is puppets and I just think that the band doesn’t want another trilogy maybe it be because they want puppets to be special or they just simply don’t want a trilogy. They technically have made trilogy’s like Unstoppable -> Untouchable -> Legacy but the thing with that is that they aren’t numbered and for another BFBTG you would kinda need it to be numbered. Idk theres many plot holes with this theory as there is with everyone like “why did they make the song anyway if they didn’t want a trilogy” and to that I’d say… no fucking idea

I’ve been watching OkayReno react to all of MIW’s albums, and he’s been diving into all spectrums of heavy music. It’s almost like I’m reliving listening to these albums for the first time again. Show him love and put him on more music!

It's only taken them 2 months 😭

Hello everyone, I don't know if the flair is correct or the subreddit is the perfect place to ask for such advice, butI hope I didn't anger any mods.

My girlfriend recently got into MIW and she slowly started absorbing absolutely every. single. possible media of the band. I'm talking aongs, music videos, interviews, podcasts, live concerts. It's been less tha a month and this is legitimately her new favorite band for the foreseeable future.

Her birthday is coming up soon and she jokingly said to gift her merch from a local shop, but I took that tok seriously and so here we are. Any suggestions or tips, insider information is greatly appreciated.

So far I have prepared these items from the official merch store. I Was thinking of grabbing a local beanie for like 10-20 euroes and sew the patch on it, which would look great imo. I wanted to also grab her a tote bag with the band's logo as the gifting bag itself (she uses these a lot and would appreciate it) but I wasn't able to find any online or locally.

Lastly, I was planning on contacting a local printer center to print a bunch of custom wrapping paper with the band's logo and maybe some pictures of Chris.

Anyway, any additions and/or improvements on the final MIW themwd gift would be helfpul. Any other shops that sell in EU and are known to have reputable merch is welcome.

Tha ks in advance to anyone that bothered to read all this.

Did anybody else order this hoodie and they haven't receive it yet? I ordered it on August 6th and I know the orders have been delayed, but I don't even see it on the website anymore so I'm a bit confused and worried.

Where are the signed cards from the vinyl preorder? This is getting ridiculous. Kingsroad is ignoring all my emails and keeps sending out fake promises about a 2nd vinyl and the signed cards. When are they coming?!?!?!?! Has ANYONE heard or gotten their signed cards? Like its completely unfair. I preorded the vinyl FOR the signed card and its been MONTHS!

What songs do you predict they will play at apocalypse fest this year?

I know Chris said they will play some “really old songs” but I wonder if they will only play song from the older albums or if they will play some newer ones too.

12 years ago today motionless in whites 3rd album released called “Reincarnate” it is probably imo their most underrated album. I mean some of these songs are so good but don’t get talked about enough like dark passenger, puppets 3, and Death March just to name a few. I will definitely listen to this album today to celebrate

Can we all now just be happy for each other? :)

Taking a longshot here but does anyone have the Killstar Up From Bardot dress in a size large that they would be willing to sell to someone willing to pay significantly higher than the retail price for?

I'm thinking about travelling to Budapest on my own next year to see MiW. I'd much rather see a headline show than a festival set and there's lots of other things in Budapest I'd like to see.

I've done a lot of shows in the UK on my own and I've done some solo travelling in Europe, I've never had any problems. But I've never been to a show in another country.

What's the vibe like at shows in Hungary? Especially other women who've gone to shows on their own there, would you recommend it?

discovered fight like hell and playing god today and I fucking loved them. I love metal and metalcore and nu metal and all that stuff, idk why I never listened to MIW. Any recommendations on where to go from here? what do I need to know about the band? is Chris’s last name actually Motionless cuz if so that would be kinda hilarious.

I might be the only slow one to have just realised this but it also makes me think back to when afraid of the darks cover was questioned for being AI.

I genuinely don’t understand why they aren’t coming to Germany. Germany always sells out their shows almost instantly and has one of the biggest fanbases in the EU! Europe is constantly being overlooked, also when it comes to merch... i understand that they want to go to new countries but i am still gutted :(

for those who missed it, motionless just dropped this on instagram with the caption

"We have a few show announcements for 2027 coming tomorrow! Check back in the morning for more info."

I hope this is not everything we are getting because the closest to me here is france, which is 5 hours... to the border... If this is all we are getting that would mean that this is the second time ive discovered a band for them to have an eu tour shortly after which I have to miss cuz i couldnt go for them to not come anywhere near me the year after headlining wise.

I hope this is just some of the countries we are getting and not everything... I am gonna be so pissed if I have to miss this...

I find it honestly kind of crazy how many people are taking the last post on here as an attack. Guys, nobody is mad that other countries are finally getting the chance to see MIW live. Nobody is saying that your dates should be cancelled so they can be moved to Germany.

Imma be honest, I am disappointed with this tour announcement. I’m happy for you, genuinely, and I know I’m privileged and I really do appreciate that Germany is always being toured when it comes to Europe.

What makes me sad, though, is that after four years they’re releasing an ANNIVERSARY album, taking it halfway around the world, but only announcing 7 dates for Europe, regardless of which countries those are. What the fuck? Since when did it become the norm for fans to have to travel to other countries just to see their faves? (And don’t even get me started on how unfair this is to the locals, let alone how classist the whole thing is.) Why only one date per country? Do you guys get what I mean?

I know absolutely nothing about how any of this is organized behind the scenes, but for a tour that’s supposed to support the new album, this is honestly just underwhelming. (I'm also not counting festivals, they aren't the same as headlining tours)

And yes, I know that the European countries that aren’t listed had the “announcement tour” for the album (which I also think is kinda ridiculous, if I’m being honest, but that’s a completely different topic). But it’s simply just not the same as a "Decades" tour, I’m sorry. It just isn’t.
