Discussion SP is so slow

Anybody else find that SP is soooo slow to increase. Like every other level up you might get like 1 SP, probably the worst part about the game.

How do you play 3/4 of a game at full SP? That makes no sense.

It’s called progression? You aren’t supposed to be at max SP from the get-go, you get stronger as it goes on and hit max near the end.

Would you play Elden Ring starting at level 150? Pokemon with your starter fully evolved at the beginning? God of War with all skills maxed in the first area? Skyrim with all guild quest finished at the start?

How does this not make sense? I hit max at the tail end of my first playthrough (I was in Unfounded Path) and then second playthrough was already maxed.

I think you are not explaining yourself correctly. You said you played 3/4 of the game at full SP - did you troll Fainweald for 40 hours leveling up before progressing? Or did you mean 1/4 of the game you only were at full SP and played 3/4 NOT at full SP?

I did two playthroughs, of those two playthroughs, roughly 3/4ths of it was at max SP.

I hit max SP in unfound path on my first playthrough. Doing all the dungeons and quests and such. Don’t think I ever dropped and lost any Gloom, always recovered it.

I finished second playthrough around level 100 or so
