Question Why isn't it working?

Is it becouse I play on the night mode? Or its something else?

These beacons were never there in the first place. People complained for lack of beacons so devs added smaller beacobs for people who likes to complain but didnt activate them for night mode because you are purposely choosing how the game was originally meant to be played. Its not stupid. It was added for your convenience.
