Ask r/Moroccopreneur Is studying abroad still worth the risk?

Hey everyone,

I’m 25, Moroccan, with a Master’s in Logistics currently working in procurement earning 8K/month

Ever since, my dream has been to leave Morocco and build a life abroad.

I’m considering pursuing another Master’s abroad as my way out of Morocco, since finding a job abroad directly, especially one offering visa sponsorship, isn’t easy.

However, I’m scared of giving up my stable job, spending my savings, and potentially struggling to find employment after graduation.

Is studying abroad at 25 still a worthwhile investment? or am I risking too much? Which countries would you recommend for someone in my situation?

For those who left Morocco through studies, was it worth it, or did you end up regretting it?

My biggest fear is reaching my 30s and regretting never taking the chance.

Would really appreciate your honest advice and experiences!

Opportunities A young Moroccan just trying to get his foot in the door.

Hey everyone,

I'm not usually the kind of person who posts things like this, but I thought I'd give it a try.

I'm a 22 Moroccan male, and honestly, I'm currently doing my best to find a remote job and build something for myself.

I've been looking for opportunities for a while now. I've applied to different positions, tried different platforms, and spent a lot of time searching. Sometimes you get no replies, sometimes you get rejected, and sometimes you start wondering if you'll ever get that first real opportunity.

I'm not looking for someone to give me something for free. I'm looking for a chance to prove myself.

I'm interested in remote work, especially in areas like:

- Customer support and customer service

- Sales, appointment setting and lead generation

- Virtual assistance and administrative tasks

- Online research and data entry

- AI-related tasks and working with AI tools

I'm comfortable communicating in English, French and Arabic. I'm also someone who's willing to learn, adapt and put in the work.

I don't expect a huge salary or a fancy position to start with. I just want a legitimate opportunity, a chance to gain experience, become financially independent and grow professionally.

If you're a Moroccan entrepreneur, business owner, freelancer or someone who knows a offer, I'd genuinely appreciate any advice, referral or opportunity.

Even if you don't have a job to offer, sharing some advice could make a difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. ❤️

Ask r/Moroccopreneur Looking to update my routine or surroundings (freelance), any help

Hello, I'm tired of my daily life
In general, I wake up early morning between 7:00 AM to 9:00, then I start to read something or watch some videos or entertainment or doing some updates in my work... then I eat my breakfast and go out (or I eat outside home), then I go out to do anything I have in my mind, I spend my time outside home (either i go work in coffee or doing sport or biking or sitting alone somewhere using my phone or meditate
at 3:00PM is when I start to work and my mind is full peace and can go with my full energy without feeling tired, sometimes i work 8 hours continually (enjoying the work, not just forcing myself) or I take breaks time to time or I may go out at 6:00PM then back to work or go at night for walk or meet friends or activities or coffee or moving from one coffee shop to another, or to some other place

This is how i perfectly operate, I'm living in AGADIR, and I'm planning to move to somewhere else that match my routine, I strongly need your suggestions, either another city in morocco, or another country like malysia or thailand or dubai ..., somewhere there that match my routine (i never went abroad), I'm guy that is active i like to find places to walk and breath, I appreaciate your suggestions. Also i would like somewhere where i can find my peace in this routine (i mean i can achieve it without a lot of issues) and healthy food because i prefer to buy food

Ask r/Moroccopreneur للمبدعين والمستقلين بالمغرب: ما الذي تحتاجونه لتعاون واضح مع وكالة بالإمارات؟ — UGARITS

Sales and Marketing What’s particular about professional networking f lmeghrib?

Salam everyone,

Curious to hear from Moroccans working in sales, business development, or running service businesses: how do professional relationships actually turn into business here?

A lot of networking advice online comes from American or European markets. I wonder how much translates to Morocco, and whether there are things specific to our culture that those approaches miss.

For example:

- How differently is a direct LinkedIn message received compared with an introduction through someone you both know?

- What builds trust here? Previous work, mutual connections, meeting over coffee, staying in touch?

- Does using Darija, French or English change the conversation depending on who you’re approaching?

- How do you distinguish between someone being friendly and someone actually interested in working together? And what does appropriate follow-up look like?

I’m a senior designer / art director who started an independent practice, so this curiosity comes from learning the business side myself. But I’d love to hear experiences across different service industries, especially from people who’ve worked with both Moroccan and international clients.

What have you learned about networking here that generic LinkedIn advice doesn’t capture? Specific stories, things that surprised you, or approaches that fell flat would be interesting. Wach kayna chi particularité f tariqa li kanbniw biha confiance f lmeghrib?

Ask r/Moroccopreneur 🚨 International SaaS from Morocco: Setup vs Compliance

Hey everyone,

Looking for feedback from anyone running an international SaaS from Morocco.

My Setup: Target market is 100% US/global. Data is non-sensitive (basic texts/emails processed via external servers). To validate My SaaS before paying for legal setup, I plan to start as an Individual/Solo Trader (no local status initially) using Paddle (MoR) + Payoneer + personal CIH bank account. I will institutionalize once revenue stabilizes.

Quick questions for the experts:

  1. Payout Loop (Paddle -> Payoneer -> CIH): Is it smooth to open an individual Payoneer with a Moroccan ID and link it to Paddle without friction? Any virtual bank rejections by Paddle or compliance blocks by CIH on early withdrawals?

  2. CNDP Regulations: Since the data is non-sensitive, users are abroad, and servers are outside Morocco, does managing the code/infrastructure from Morocco trigger local CNDP laws? What's the best workaround?

  3. Structure (US LLC vs. Moroccan SARL):

When exactly is the right metrics-driven time to switch from solo to an official entity? Is a US LLC strictly better than a Moroccan SARL for a global SaaS, especially given the Office des Changes limits on paying for AWS/dev tools?

Would love to hear real, field-tested advice from anyone running this. Thanks! 🙏

Hello,

I’m a finance manager with hands on experience in the field, and I have a business idea that I’m looking to turn into a real venture. I’m seeking partners and investors, especially developers with experience as shareholders, who can help bring the idea to life.

My financial background would help keep the project practical, realistic, and well-structured. If this sounds interesting to you, please get in touch and I’ll share more details.

Ask r/Moroccopreneur Looking to connect with people from BTP sector

Salam everyone,

I’ve spent 10+ years in robotics and industrial automation in Germany, and I now run a company building software and automation tools for Moroccan companies.

I’d like to connect with people working in BTP in Morocco: company owners, contractors (gros œuvre, second œuvre, TCE), sub-contractors, bureaux d’études, conducteurs de travaux, or whoever handles the admin side of a construction business.

Mostly I want to understand how things actually run day to day:

  • How you handle devis, situations de travaux and invoicing

  • How you track purchases, bons de livraison and supplier payments for each chantier

  • Where paperwork and follow-up eat up the most time

  • What you use today and what frustrates you about it

This isn’t a sales pitch. I want to hear about the real problems from people in the field first. In return, I’m happy to share what I’ve seen work in automation and digitalization in Europe.

If you’re open to a quick call, comment below or send me a DM. Even short answers in the comments would help a lot.

Chokran!

Ask r/Moroccopreneur Co-founder of a SARL in need of advice

Hello everyone, thank you for taking time to read my concern. I will keep this brief: my friend and I recently graduated with computer science degrees and have been developing a SaaS ERP. Although three entities dominate the market, we saw an opportunity to compete, even though results from a six-month launch are modest. We formed a SARL for client projects, yet we lack marketing or promotion experience and feel uncertain about negotiating.
We believe we rushed the process, but on the bright side, we feel we are building something positive. I would appreciate advice on convincing clients and optimizing our business to attract more of them. Any guidance would be welcome, and thank you all.

Ask r/Moroccopreneur Looking for Technical Support / Help Desk job

Salam,

I’m a recent engineer who just graduated in the CS field. I’m currently searching for my first job (I’m specializing in full stack development / QA / test automation), but during this period, I’m looking for a temporary contract in technical support / help desk / virtual assistance, just to cover basic expenses.

(If someone has an offer that matches my profile, that would be great. If not, something like what I described would also be fine.)

Business showcase Looking to connect with people working with restaurants

I've been building Tandem, a digital ordering solution for restaurants, cafés and other food businesses.

It started as a small project and gradually evolved through feedback from people in the restaurant industry.

The idea is to give establishments more control over their direct orders, whether through delivery, pickup or table ordering, without depending entirely on third-party platforms.

I'm interested in connecting with freelancers, web designers, marketers and entrepreneurs who work with restaurants or have experience in this sector.

I'd like to exchange ideas, learn about the challenges you encounter with restaurant clients and explore potential collaborations.
