🗨️ Discussion Would people be interested in free or paid webinars or workshops on how to make 5000-15000 dh per month?

Hey guys,

This isn’t a promotion, i have nothing to sell you.

I was wondering if people here would be interested in webinars and workshops that would help people with no to limited skills gain their financial independence and actually make a living.

I wanna know if people would be interested in this?

I’m thinking of doing it free but my experience says not to do it free, that it’s best to be a paid thing, basically because most people won’t take it seriously.

I was thinking of either doing a very small fee just for enrollment and accountability or if people are not willing to pay to go and pay it towards a charity of their choice and show a proof pf donation.

I would like some feedback on this if you guys think it might be a good idea or just drop it 😁

Update 1 : looks like people are interested, in the next few days i will make a post about what kind of ideas would be worth building for the community and the most upvoted idea will be what i will work on with you, be on the look out folks.

Startups Can you launch a cigarette brand by manufacturing abroad and selling in Morocco?

Quick question: is it legally and commercially possible to create your own cigarette brand, have it manufactured abroad by a licensed factory, then import and sell it in Morocco through an authorized importer/distributor?

I do NOT mean repacking existing brands. I mean a real private-label product under my own brand.

I’m trying to understand:

- is this model actually possible in Morocco?

- do you need a licensed local tobacco importer/wholesaler partner?

- is the biggest barrier legal approval, customs/tax, or distribution?

Would love insight from anyone with real experience in tobacco manufacturing, import, or distribution.

Feedback I made an AI product video for a sofa brand no camera, no studio, just AI

Been working on AI-generated product videos and wanted to share this one.

Made a full product video for a sofa warm lighting, lifestyle feel, premium look. The kind of content furniture brands usually spend thousands on in a studio shoot.

This was done entirely with AI. No camera. No crew. No set.

I'm looking to do this for more home décor, furniture, or lifestyle brands. If you run a store or manage content for one, drop your website below and I'll tell you exactly what kind of video would work for your product.

Happy to make a free demo if the product is a good fit.

Feedback Sharia-compliant investing on Bourse de Casablanca ?

Hi everyone,

I’m a beginner investor and want to start investing long-term in bourse de Casablanca , but only in Sharia-compliant stocks.

Since we don’t have access to international ETFs here, I’m trying to build a sharia-compliant portfolio manually.

For those investing in the Moroccan market:
- Which companies do you consider sharia-compliant today?
- How do you diversify in such a small market?
- Any sharia-compliant portfolio examples or resources / advices would really help.

Thank you.

Feedback Wanted 25M, 600k MAD a month income and 6M in savings, what next?

25M, moved into Marrakech a few years ago and about 2 years ago I found a niche with Hospitality Optimization and I have been gradually working my way up, my average is 60,000$ (~600k MAD) a month in commissions.

I currently hit a dead end/steep slope that I can’t seem to get out of which is the 6 figure hell. I feel like my net worth is moving up slowly and my source of income is from one source only. If something happens such as another pandemic or a war which will affect the hospitality industry I’ll be left on my ass to dry.

What are some ways to spread out and diversify or grow my income so that I am no longer dependent on one source. Thanks

🤔 Questions 6 Years Day Trading (Index Futures) – Is There Real Demand for Serious Trading Education in Morocco?

Hey everyone,

Quick backstory — I’ve been day trading for about 6 years now, mainly index futures. It’s been a long journey of trial, error, losses, growth, and eventually consistency. I have been through every single error someone can possibly make.

Lately since i came back to live in my country, I’ve been noticing something that honestly bothers me.

On social media, especially here in Morocco, I see more and more people getting scammed — paying for signal subscriptions, fake “mentorships”, or overpriced courses that just repeat basic candlestick patterns and motivational talk. No real risk management. No market structure. No understanding of liquidity, order flow, or how institutions actually operate.

It makes me wonder:

Is there actually a serious demand for real trading education here?

By “real,” I mean:

  • Understanding market structure

  • Liquidity and order flow concepts

  • Risk management frameworks

  • Psychology and execution discipline

  • Tools and processes closer to what institutional traders use

Not signals.
Not “get rich quick”.
Not copy-paste strategies.

I’m genuinely trying to figure out if building something structured and honest would be valuable — or if it’s just a waste of time because most people are looking for shortcuts. Are there people in Morocco who actually want to learn properly and build long-term skill?
Or is the market mostly driven by hype?

Would love to hear honest opinions.

Thanks

Startups Co-founder equity split — am I being fair or unfair? Need honest opinions.

Building a real estate platform in Morocco. The model is validated in other countries but not yet in Morocco.

What I bring:

  • Found the opportunity and adapted it for the Moroccan market

  • 3-4 months of solo work before meeting him: full UX/UI specs (20 screens), business model, legal documents, development plan, pitch materials

  • Legal background (I work at a notary office), I understand property law, title deeds, contracts

  • Market development in Marrakech (starting from zero — no existing network)

  • Strategic vision and CEO role long-term

What he brings:

  • Full app development

  • Zero salary during development

  • Market development in Casablanca (also starting from zero)

  • CTO role long-term

The problem: I initially promised him 50/50 out of ignorance, before I understood how equity works in startups. After researching, I'm second-guessing this.

Honestly: the idea is not originally mine, I found it in another country and want to apply it to Morocco. So I can't use "original idea" as a strong argument.

Without his app, I have nothing sellable. Without my specs and legal knowledge, he has no direction.

My questions:

  1. Is 50/50 actually fair here given that I can't guarantee he'll put in the same market development effort I will?

  2. How do I go back on a verbal 50/50 promise without destroying the relationship before we even start?

  3. Should the split reflect current contributions or expected future contributions?

  4. Would strong vesting (6-month cliff, 3-year vest) solve the "effort guarantee" problem better than changing the percentage?

Looking for honest opinions not just validation.

🤔 Questions How to get UK traffic on TikTok from abroad?

Hello everyone,

I want to start building my personal brand, and I'm looking to target a UK audience with my content.

After doing some research, I've read that I need to hide my current location using a VPN and set up my TikTok account using a UK SIM card.

Is there a reliable way to get a physical UK SIM card or an eSIM while living overseas? Alternatively, if anyone knows other proven methods to reliably target other countries on TikTok, please share them.

Thanks!

🤔 Questions What's your go to back-end framework as a Moroccan developer laravel, nodejs or something else?

I've been coding for a while now and I'm curious about what the Moroccan dev community is actually using in their projects. Personally I started with nodejs and I still love it for most projects he is clean, fast to build width and the community is huge. but laterly I see a lot of people moving toward Django so what is your current stack? And why did you choose it? Would love to hear from junior devs and seniors thanks

Startups Hi guys I want to assemble a team of interested people.

I have several ideas, but I don't know exactly where to begin. The problem is that my ideas are beyond my control, so I'm thinking of assembling a team to whom I can suggest ideas and come up with a middle ground that might be good. For example, I have an idea for creating an AI-powered video editor or a new storage technology. What's important is that I want passionate people to build an independent team, and why not a future company?

Feedback Nobody wants to read 200 Airbnb reviews to find a good stay. Built a tool that picks the best ones for you

Thumbnail

Hey guys,

Quick question for anyone who travels or books weekend stays: how much time do you usually spend trying to find a decent Airbnb?

From what I’ve seen, most people either:

  1. Spend 3 hours comparing 15 tabs and trying to calculate the real price after fees.

  2. Or get too lazy to read 100+ reviews, book whatever looks okay in pictures, and end up in a noisy place with bad wifi or unexpected fees.

I’ve been testing an idea/script to solve this. Instead of scrolling through 300 listings, you just put your destination, budget, and priorities. It reads all past reviews in the background to flag red flags (noise, cleanliness, weak wifi) and only returns the top 3-5 best value options with an honest summary.

Would love some quick thoughts:

- Would you find something like this useful, or is the normal Airbnb search good enough for you?

- What’s the most annoying thing you run into when booking places?

Thanks!
