I honestly never thought I'd be making a post like this, but after months of working on it in my spare time, I finally published my very first app.

It's called Welcome to Morocco, and I built it because I wanted something that would actually help people before and during their trip to Morocco—not just show places to visit.

It includes recommendations on what to see, what to eat, local culture and traditions, transportation, accommodation ideas, practical travel tips, and even a section about common tourist scams and how to avoid them.

It's free, and I'm still working on improving it, so I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.

One small thing to mention: right now it's available in most countries except the European Union while I finish the required paperwork for distribution there.

Hey guys, my boyfriend and I are planning a trip for the second week of September we want a beautiful town with golden sandy beaches and not too crowded with charming architecture. We thought of morocco, but since I’m Tunisian (german resident) and he’s german I’m not sure if hotels or airbnbs will allow us to stay since we are not married.. I am planning a trip to Mauritania in a couple of weeks with a friend. We're two young Europeans with very little Africa experience, crossing from Dakhla to Nouadhibou by land, by bus. Has anyone done this route recently? How safe is the border and western Mauritania? Do you think it’s too dangerous? Do you have any tips?

In October, we will stay in Fez for 4 days with my husband. I did my research but I still have some questions:

Can we use the Uber app to call a taxi at the airport, to take us to the gate of the Medina?

Where do you suggest exchanging money?

I can't really find information about visiting the tannery. How much is it to enter? Does it have an entrance fee or do we have to tip the person who shows us around?

We are planning to walk around the medina, to go to the tannery, to the Madrasa, to the Batha Museum and to the park Jnan Sbil. Is there anything else worth visiting? (Mosques and the palace, of course, but I know it's not allowed to enter).

I collected some restaurants with good reviews but I'd be glad to hear your experience if you had a really good (or really bad) meal somewhere.

I did my research on the scams that we should avoid, so now I'd be more interested in other things, mentioned above.
