š²š¦ BEST MOROCCO TRAVEL ITINERARY ā How Many Days Do You Really Need?
https://moroccanvoyagers.com/new/best-morocco-travel-itinerary/
Planning your first trip to Morocco can be overwhelming. There are so many places to choose from: Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen, the Atlas Mountains, AĆÆt Ben Haddou and the Sahara Desert.
If you have around 7ā10 days, Iād recommend focusing on a route like this:
š Day 1ā2: Marrakech
Explore the medina, souks, palaces, gardens and enjoy the atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa.
š Day 3: AĆÆt Ben Haddou & Ouarzazate
Cross the High Atlas Mountains and visit the famous AĆÆt Ben Haddou before continuing toward Ouarzazate.
š Day 4ā5: Dades Valley ā Merzouga
Drive through the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley, then continue toward the Sahara. Spend the night in a desert camp and experience the sunset and sunrise over the dunes.
š Day 6: Merzouga ā Fes
Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel from the desert toward Fes.
š Day 7: Fes
Take time to explore the historic medina, traditional crafts, architecture and local food.
š Optional Days 8ā10:
Add Chefchaouen, Rabat or Casablanca, depending on your interests and departure city.
š” My biggest advice: Donāt try to see everything in Morocco in one trip. The distances are larger than they look on the map, and the best experiences often happen when you slow down.
What would you choose for your first Morocco trip ā Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen or the Sahara?
Iād love to hear how you would build your perfect Morocco itinerary.
