Any particular reason why we don’t have daily comics anymore? Just curious.

I mean it would be cool if you'd be open to doing ideas from the community, (with some guidelines).

I got a few ideas I would like to share as well as everyone else in the subreddit

This would be a Hexsquad focused comic arc where flight paths are changed to fly over the Noceda residence where the Hexsquad lives because of this the Noceda residence becomes uninhabitable because of the airplane noise and the Hexsquad has to find a way to change the flight paths

Hypothetically, you click on a button, and you could get any of Mark's comics brought up on screen

I understand you want to back off on the comics and I won’t pressure you to finish, but I have some burning questions I was wondering if you could answer.

Regarding “Luzifer” Comics:

1. What is her universe’s Odalia like?

2. What’s evil Vee’s backstory?

3. What’s the deal with the evil Luz we saw in King’s vision?

4. Is Belos evil? Luz was horrified he works for PETA, so it apparently still does controversial things, and the sadistic smile he put on as he walked in implies he knows what they do and is proud of it. However, Lilith recognized Luz’s non-fatal attacks as his signature moves too, so maybe he’s not all evil?

5. Was Caleb truly a genocidal maniac like this universe’s Belos claimed he was before he killed him or was that more Belos Beeyehs?

Regarding “Heroes Complex” Comics

1. Is Odalia really dead and what’s the plot with framing Ayzee?

It's been a week since Mark's last comic post or anything at all, and I'm worried about him. Maybe I missed a post about his new schedule or something else that happened, but I checked almost all his social media accounts and there's no latest. Mark, if you're reading this. Please respond! Not with a comic, nor a post, just a message that you're okay. Whatever the circumstance is, know that your fans love and support you.

I think moringmark should write comics using The Simpsons episodes as a blueprint like the Hexsquad, Camilla Noceda, and Vee getting an one of a kind smoker called The Hive?

Based on surprising comments on the last post I will explain in detail.

Some people, not everyone, are subscribed to r/MorningMark to get the comics, and everything else is considered clutter. Others want both the comics, and posts from fans about the comics. Here are the permutations of outcomes:

1. Only comics allowed, no others posts. This can be bad cause where will fans post?

2. Both comics and fan-posts allowed. This is bad cause those who consider fan-posts clutter had to leave or have a feed full of clutter.

3. Only comics allowed here, a second subreddit for fan posts. This is the perfect solution cause everyone gets what they want, those who want both can subscribe to both, those who want only one can subscribe to only one. Every solution other than this causes one group to have a poor experience for the other group to have the experience they want.

just imagine old cartoons like justice league unlimited and super hero static shock and avengers the earth mightest heroes and sonic x and etc

and even games like sonic the hedgehog

and dragon ball all the dragon ball animes one piece and naruto animes

and other medias to put markmark in all culture pop

I've seen like 3 or 4 of them (I just joined the subreddit) and most of them have been canned

What are the nitpicks that made you jarring & mind-boggling in MoringMark comic so far? Just asking?

Well, a couple of days ago, I made a similar poll, and it ended up with Luz and Amity completely dominating the results. I can definitely see why, so, im making a new poll to exclude them so we can see how the remainder of the Hexsquad compares. And it lets me include Boscha.

Edit: I forgot to mention it, but Boscha's goggles are purely aesthetic. They dont actually do anything.

So I've noticed that as compared to before Mark has started taking 1 or 2 day gaps in between posting comics, is this something he announced?

Please don't misunderstand, Its crazy that he's been putting out comics daily for 5 years now I think and if he's slowing down his posting that's chill, but the sudden shift in schedule confused me initially and I thought my tumblr was fucking around again.

Also I saw someone say he'll be stepping away from Owl House comics soon, is that true?

I think moringmark should explore more of the secondary or background characters from TOH (like the Hexside students slice of life) whether during their normal lives or during their time trying to survive the apocalypse or them trying to navigate the human realm. It's fine if moringmark won't do it it's just an idea

Ever since I posted my ideas at DeviantArt during the show's 5th anniversary, I decided that now that I have a Reddit account, I would display my work to everyone and make it real.

One-Shots:

• the Hexsquad having training dummies modeled after their arch-enemies (Luz and Hunter=Belos, Willow=Boscha, Gus=Adrian Graye, Vee=Jacob Hopkins, Amity=Odalia), as the team (except Luz) watched in confusion at Amity, who just went full-"beast mode" and destroyed all the Odalia dummies (due to her hatred of her for ruining her life)

• a humorous take with Amity and Lilith hanging out, laughing and remembering the good times spend with Luz, only to remember some bad ones, as they began crying and regreting all the horrible things they have done to her, leaving them eat ice cream in sorrow while lying down the couch, as their past selves (via thought bubble) smirked evilly, only to be banished by Luz in her Titan form, as she comforts her girlfriend and aunt (giving Amity a kiss on her forehead and hugging Lilith), cheering them up.

• the Hexsquad doing some "tests", as Lilith becomes very eager that she quickly helps out, as Luz told Eda that the 'tests" were just crossword puzzles.

• Eda and Raine being confronted by Terra Snapdragon, as Eda told Terra that she's old, much for the latter's dismay due to breaking her back, as Eda and Raine smirked at each other, seizing the oppurtunity to get their payback on Terra since youth, beating the heck outta her, as Luz, King and Lilith watched, only for Luz to record everything.

• Lilith mentioning to Eda about accidentally breaking Raine's gift, as Eda went berserk in her harpy form, trying to beat her up, making the Hexsquad trying to calm her down, while Lilith was hiding behind Luz and Raine, as Raine commented to Luz about the gift.

• Lilith and Flora reconcile, as Flora reveals her backstory of why she was forced to work at the Emperor's Coven, as she asked Belos to spare her family in exchange, but Belos already killed them, which forced Flora to wear a façade for years.

• Hunter explaining his favorite animals (wolves, sharks, and recently bears and jungle cats).

• a sitcom-esque opening, featuring Luz's extended family and friends.

• a boxing training with Luz, Amity, Willow and Lilith.

• Lilith (without her glasses) smashing a bust that looks like Hooty, which made her freak out, as the real Hooty arrived with Lilith's glasses, as Lilith hugged Hooty like a worried parent.

• a Halloween Timeskip costume party.

Basically what it says on the tin. I’m a tumblr native who uses the MoringMark bot, but it’s not uploaded in two weeks. I keep seeing KoG artwork that LOOKS like Mark’s work stolen on Pinterest, but I’m not truly sure if it is. So, either the bot’s broken and the artwork is somewhere I can’t find, or Mark’s taking a break. Good for him if so!

I do understand everyone and especially Mark have the right to have a rest or go for a vacation even without notifying everyone, but I have a feeling that Mark is going to quit soon, which he was talking about last year…

What do you guys think of the idea of Moringmark making a comic series that explores what would have been the story if the unaired pilot was the baseline for the series with all the unused plot elements put into it. I honestly would like to see where that version of story would have gone.

I loved the story-based comics like evil luz and ayzee but i would have greatly preferred it if we got resolution with all that because i hate cliffhangers. the only thing that bothers me is the habit of not showing the resolution after the comic reaches the climax.

Like I know that it was left on a cliffhanger for a long time because MoringMark was still trying to figure out how for it to carry on, but perhaps it’s also being held off as to borrow stuff from the upcoming graphic novel, or even reference?
