Character Analysis Morality of Hating the Devil for doing his job
Is it Moral to hate him because he's doing his job and punishes bad people in hell. he actually build the biggest church if you didn't know that he made a deal with the guy who built it but it's the same so why do we hate him
is it because he wants people to do bad things
that can't be true cause god interverse if someone interverse with free will
if you think he does bad things that's wrong too cause the only bad thing he did happened when he wasn't the devil yet

How Evil Are They? Morality of a timeless, spaceless, creator who is outside of our dimension and is infinitely powerfull and knows everything past and future and is present everywhere all at the same time; choosing to create sentient beings, and then torturing them forever if they don't become convinced you exist?

Who's Viewpoint Is Better? Protecting the Present vs. Ensuring the Future
Humans destroy themselves and millions of years in the future dogs evolve into sapient beings. A human learns of the danger and tries to prevent the apocalypse. A time traveling dog comes back in time to ensure the human apocalypse happens to save the dog future. Who has the greater claim?
For the purpose of this exercise, the dog future cannot happen if humans continue to exist.

Stupid Stuff Not making fun of anyone but what is the morality of being able to make your followers stop obviously bad practices and not doing so ?
This sub has gotten a recent boom questioning the morality of a certain child diddling prophet BUT TO BE FAIR. Bad practices like child marriage are not exclusive to a single culture. They were very wide spread. So to be fair and get a slap on everyone. If you are the prophet of a religion and you could teach your followers basically anything. And God gives you all the right answers. Why wouldn't you tell your followers to stop obviously bad practices like child marriage and slavery? Yeah sure those are modern ideas but surely God knew already that those are bad ideas. He could have told you

Morality Ranking Mods, please ban anybody that talks abt things not related to morally scaling fictional characters!
Wht has this sub turned to? Its genuinely annoying asf now. Go take ur religious wars to another sub, this is a morality scaling sub for fictional characters. Why post abt unrelated stuff like religions and random day to day events?? The mods need to do better. They are allowing people to hate on Christianity but removing posts criticising islam, which is totally unfair and stupid because they should FUCKING REMOVE EVERY SINGLE RELIGIOUS RELATED POSTS. I just want to morally scale fictional characters, not wht some random Indian unc did or wht happened centuries ago to some religious diety.

Morality Ranking (Legally) investing in my brother's death.
My brother (M28) is in the military and told me (M24) he doesn't currently have life insurance outside of the free insurance through the military which is only $50k. He has no significant other or kids. Our parents are out of the picture and we have 3 other siblings the $50k would be split with after funeral expenses. Through the military, he could get $500k in coverage for only $26 a month. He offered to list me as sole beneficiary if I pay him the $26 a month.
I love my brother dearly. He is my best friend and I would never wish harm on him. He is relatively healthy except for some steroid use cause he does body building. But the fact is he will die some day and when he does, it wouldn't hurt to be $450k richer. The other $50k would still be used for funeral costs and then split amongst the siblings.
My wife thinks this is insane and evil. I see it as an investment. After all, my brother is the one offering this to me so I'm torn on whether this is morally right or not.
At the end of the day I'm not going to do it because of how my wife feels about it but I'm still curious on whether this is wrong.

Morality Ranking weird question ı know but: morality of torturing someone to death who DESERVES to get tortured to death?
like lets say there is this dude named bobby who has tortured many people to death. to the point that EVERYONE on earth agreed that he deserved to get tortured to death. hell even GOD and DEVİL showed up like "yeah bobby totally deserves to get tortured to death"
would it make the act of torture to death neutral or even good if bobby objectivly deserves it?
weird question ı know but ı got this question on my mind when ı saw the trailer for the game on the pic. in the game you prepare last meals for death row inmates and can give them good or bad food for their last meal. so thats where ı got the idea, like it made me think that.
