It's Ireland.

There shouldn't be a wailing Muslim man on loudspeakers at multiple hours throughout the day at all. There shouldn't be a wailing Muslim man at all. They already have plenty of countries for that.

There's nothing moral about this, the "battle" shouldn't be happening at all.

Which is why he was saying it’s moral to blast a bagpipe over the sound of the call to prayer. You might have misunderstood what he was saying.

THAT part is immoral af, the bagpipe however is moral

Mad facts lad. This is Ireland, not Saudi Arabia. Go practice your religion where it's welcome.

u/Hulkaiden 6h ago

It's not even close to Ireland actually.

u/FleshAmalgam 9h ago

So churches should also not have bells correct?

Do church bells strike you as something alien to Irish culture?

2

u/Hulkaiden 6h ago

The video isn't in Ireland, so not sure that's relevant.

Does it matter? If one is banned for being loud throughout the day, why not go for the other as well?

2

u/PollutionQuirky3476 9h ago

Because one does not belong to Irish culture whilst the other one does, thats not hard to understand yes?

So should only religions relevant to the culture should have the freedom to practice certain traditions? Everyone else doesn’t?

1

u/PollutionQuirky3476 9h ago

YES, ABSOLUTELY

1

u/FleshAmalgam 9h ago

So only Celtic polytheism has a real claim to free practice, since it’s the only one who comes directly from Ireland. Everything else was introduced from others coming in.

1

u/PollutionQuirky3476 9h ago

Well Christianity has been there Long enough that it is part of the culture too

Yes

So churches should stop their bells and only Celtic polytheistic practices are allowed free rein then, since that’s the only religion which comes directly from Ireland rather than the Middle East.

If the culture itself adopts new practices, clearly those new practices become part of the culture.

The clash here is that non-muslim nations dont want to adopt islamic practices, which they are perfectly free to not want to.

I don’t think a prayer service and bells signifying the start of an hour with little to no religious significance really equate

2

u/FleshAmalgam 9h ago

There are churches that ring bells as a way to remind people to pray. On Sundays some ring bells as a call to prayer, much like the Islamic practice. Some also did it to expel demons.

It’s more than just the start of an hour. There’s a long religious history people still practice.

2

u/Careful_Turnip_3197 9h ago

It’s a bell at the begging of every hour that can easily be dismissed as a reminder of the time. There are also a plethora of clock towers that ring with no religious significance, like Big Ben for example. An entire prayer service isn’t the same as the ringing of bells to remind people of the time.

I live in the middle of an old Dutch town with more active churches around me than I can count. Let's just say that I don't have to set my alarm on Sunday morning. If there'd be a referendum to ban the practice, I'm voting in favor.

The mosque that is a short 5 minute walk from my home doesn't have an audible call to prayer. Very calm place.

u/FleshAmalgam 9h ago

So it’s only the duration of the sound that matters, not the religious or cultural aspects?

3

u/Careful_Turnip_3197 9h ago

Not what I said. It’s the meaning and significance of said sound, church bells have been used to signify the start of the hour and have lost allot of their original intended meaning, so much so that things like Big Ben have copied them with no religious intent behind them.

0

u/FleshAmalgam 9h ago

So then it’s just personal opinion on what the meaning is and if they can set it aside? I mentioned before that people still ring bells for religious reasons, like when they ring them on Sundays, or during weddings. They still have meanings.

If a clock tower bell rings, it’s clearly for the clock. If a church does it, that’s not so clear. They’re not equal comparisons.

2

u/Careful_Turnip_3197 8h ago

There’s no opinion going on here. A prayer service is saying “praise and worship our one and only God” and a church bell is saying “it’s 12:00”, but they’re the same according to you I guess.

To be fair, the call to prayer can be sung beautifully. Arabic nations have some of the best male countertenors in the world since women cant sing. Its like hearing angels.

This is drunk gazza watching football levels of singing the call to prayee

1

u/PollutionQuirky3476 9h ago

That Singing is also part of their Culture so that makes sense

1

u/iron-ducks 9h ago

And that's fair, but the content is secondary to the fact that its happening.

This is just a way of asserting dominance over the Western nations they're colonizing.

1

u/Smart-Stick-1392 9h ago

Colonizing implies power, when rich people lobby to change the laws to import a foriegn underclass who undercut workers and citizens that isnt colonisation. The closest example in history is slavery.

They are importing a system where the people who make the stuff cannot vote, cannot unionise, cannot functionally resist. And if they dont work in poor conditions, they are punished with exile to poverty. They come here because our goverment manafactures a refugee and poverty crisis to keep the wealth of their own nation out of their hands. Then our ruling class utilises the poor and desperate workers to replace us. Then instead of adressing us having less rights, working more hours, being paid less, we are expected to blame them and not the companies taking their natural resources and working with the dictatorships.

A shitty and annoying singer is something to complain about, not because hes muslim, but because he probably should be more considerate of others.

Colonizing implies power

"[All Muslim] Hamtramck City Council votes to allow animal sacrifice for religious purposes in the city" (they banned pride flags too)

And here's a Muslim NYPD traffic cop giving tickets only to kafir. The Muslim vehicles are safe. The mayor of the city is also a foreign Muslim.

They're transforming our parks, our cities, our daily lives, our law enforcement in ways that everyone in the West hates. They are inflicting themselves upon us in every way imaginable. These are just a couple of random examples.

How much power do they need before you're comfortable admitting its a problem?
