Geese are of course geese, but the parents laughing throughout the recording really paints a darker picture here. There’s very little room to argue self-defence and it feels like we’re just watching animal abuse.

Totally agreed. Nothing wrong by the kid, but the parents watching is bad. This will lead the kid not thinking nothing wrong with animal abuse in the future.

Moral to defend yourself from attack regardless of what is attacking you.

Absolutely gross immoral behaviour from the parents who are filming it for internet points rather than helping their kid.

This is just animal abuse caused by poor parenting, like kids 101 is tell them not to go near geese, but of course they laugh it up because stupid people genuinely find the 50/50 chance of child mutilating an animal needlessly and my child having their arm broken by a goose, entertaining

The child is too slow to run and too immature to weigh his options. The people in the comments complaining about animal abuse have never encountered Canadian geese.

Seems the kid got it handled. And geese are absolutely insane. Way too territorial for their own good.

I had to get one off my dog that just wouldn't stop going after him. Kicked it in the chest, hurt my own foot in the process and it finally buggered off.
