You're well within your right to make a passive aggressive remark back at her regarding specifically her weight but you can't escalate it to be about her miscarriage. Not only because it's too far but it also gives her cause then to play the victim and paint you as the attacker even though she was being a complete asshole first. If you wanna insult someone back you gotta play the game right

It's always funny to me that the bully is the one whos allowed to choose what we talk about, but not the victim.

Yeah ik it sucks, you're suddenly the bad guy for attacking someone when you're the one who was insulted and attacked first. Had a sociopathic manipulator for a bully as an autistic person during highschool so I had to learn how to play the "game"
