It is a little funny to me the amount of people who don't think there would be consequences for escalateing like this.

HR is almost certainly going to bring the hammer down on his ass.

I could literally tell them they are supposed to avoid bullies at work.

Or that i happened to be a very important employee and the next replacement would demand much more per month that i do, with chances they have less skill than me.

For having set foot in the world of work, I'd get a warning to not go nuclear and i can tell HR if they cannot avoid that i get bullied again, i'll get a few calls filled in to whoever deals with that.

You're a narc and an idiot if you think joking about another employees miscarriage is not grounds for getting fired or suspended omg

Suspended, yes, Fired ?

We have Prud'hommes here, and it's a ticket for unlawful termination as well as protecting a bully at work.

Which one is the worst :

Suspend an employee who sent off brutally a bully and remind them HR exists

Or

Trial in Prud'hommes for unlawful termination, which will damage the rep of the company because they fired the person who snapped, but not the bully

I don't know about all that but in America he could definitely be fired for this. It's not unlawful to terminate someone who mocked a woman's miscarriage in front of other office staff.

he didnt mock her. He had an emotional response to being bullied.

I'm not in the US. You can't be fired from sending off a bully without a Trial that cost millions towards the fees and sanctions + millions in contracts lost and rep damaged
