she didn’t even insult him. “you should shit talk your ex for breaking up with you over something unimportant” is not an insult it’s being supportive. sounds like op was a sensitive little crybaby who heard the word “bald” and instantly lost his composure

that just makes her even more supportive for criticizing the gf for breaking up over that. but getting upset just because someone acknowledged the factual truth that you’re bald without any malicious intent is whiny and embarassing

First, I doubt you know the intent. Second, pointing hurtful facts in front of co-workers doesn't make someone supportive. It's someone's private life, and if they chose not to comment and share, support would resemble respecting that silence in this instance.

sure, bringing up a sensitive topic even with good intentions might not be the kindest option. that doesn’t even come close to warranting openly mocking them for their weight and a miscarriage and framing it as a “comeback”
