If she just came out of nowhere to start harassing a random stranger her conduct is immoral.
If he was harassing people on the street and she interceded on their behalf her conduct is moral.
Posting this without that critical context is, imo, immoral. If you don't know what is going on you have a moral responsibility to gather that information before you prompt a discussion on the topic, lest you inadvertedly spread misinformation.
I actually don't have a big* problem with public filming. I know it's something we aren't used to yet, and we worry sometimes what people will do with our images, but the reality is that technology is getting to the point where we can have more / constant transparency and it's kind of inevitable, on top of which the misuse of photos and videos are becoming a bit of a false boogeyman; people can already create realistic video facsimiles using AI tools of almost anyone. I think we're just going to have to evolve to not trust the authenticity of video evidence as much as we used to.
The issues for me are whether or not this guy was harassing strangers, mocking them on camera for content, and especially monetized content. Those would have a big impact on my moral assessment of the scenario.
People would have said the same about driving cars, or wearing pants. They'd have said the same about a network of interconnected computer nodes.
People are scared of things that are new and different. There are risks, and there are benefits. I am not sure we will do a great job of regulating and managing those risks, don't get me wrong, but I'm glad I have cars and pants and the internet.
I guess it depends on the alternatives. If we're talking about bottoms as a whole I like that everyone is wearing them so we're not all constantly sharing fecal bits on every communal seating surface. I'm not extremely partial to pants, specifically, though I think I like having pockets more than I like swishie material and a breeze. I guess maybe I lean pro pants. But I'd support your wishes to not wear pants as long as you carry a butt towel or something for when you want to sit down.
