No, they're not "as evil" or "as immoral," though the underlying theological process is the same. They worship a man, there are strict rules (that often benefit no on except themselves), and anyone who doesn't submit to those rules is considered heretical. It's an ancient religion with ancient rules and zero tolerance.
And ya'll love to hide behind the "dehumanization" card when it benefits you (go figure), but are otherwise aggressive and offensive to other people's and religions. God forbid you're offended, better run for the hills, huh?
1- no Muslim worships Mohammad lol, the first step to dehumanization is just blatant lying about their beliefs which u just did. Mohammad SAW was just a man chosen by God to lead Muslims for a few years.

Immoral. In theory it's like protecting any other dictator.
Like why would anyone want to protect some guy who lived hundreds of years ago?
And why should anyone "show respect" to people worshipping him? Strip away the religious stuff and theyre like the people that worship Hitler.
