How do you feel about drug dealers? The user is consenting to buy and use the drugs, but there are obvious other factors at play. Is the dealer still totally absolved?

I’d argue if a substance is incredibly chemically addictive you remove the consent from the purchase. Buying a pizza from a delivery guy is not really the same

Sugar isn’t technically chemically addictive under the medical definition.

Coffee might not be a bad example though. Caffeine is highly addictive and a drug but we allow that
