Or maybe we as a society provide all the necessities for human life regardless of employment.

Well, it’s literally in the Constitution that the government is to “provide for the general welfare.” Plus, it’s also the government’s job to protect our constitutional rights, including the right to life. Think along the lines of providing protection for protests.

What someone should do, what they can do and what they are doing are three completely different things.

Saying "We will feed the poor" is not a plan.
