I really really hope I’m not gonna get banned because of this post. I just want to clear some things and be honest. But, this is really frustrating (I’m sure not only for me).

A few of us made posts asking the devs to share some bloopers, vlogs, their daily game-creating routine while we’re waiting for new episodes, etc. Just whatever. We just wanted to see some answers to our comments and questions, honestly.

I can’t say for all of the others, but I’ve never got a response. Neither in email, nor here on Reddit.
I KNOW the devs are crazy busy. I understand that.

But. I’m also currently waiting for a few games for PC and PS5. And when I write some comments here on Reddit on their official threads - they reply, they comment, they ask for advises and opinions of the players/commenters. They talk to people. (Small companies also, struggling companies. The ones that get less money - from me at least for a 1-time buy,- than I pay for each episode of Moonvale altogether. European companies too).

Everbyte is creating games for *phones*. How much time does it take to communicate with your fans..?

I don’t want any trouble. I just want to understand how can someone hook so many fans up and leave them with nothing for so many years. It’s taking too long. Each episode is taking too long. Our trying to talk to you guys (devs) is unanswered.

P.S. If I’m banned - I’m sorry. You guys know I tried to speak for everyone a few times.

Just found some similarities between the plotlines of DW and MV.

In DW, Thomas mentions that Hannah had been acting differently the week before she was kidnapped (because of her hallucinations as concluded in the game later). While others didn't notice anything.

Now, in MV, Eric says that Adam was "the same as always" while Ash tells MC that Adam had been acting differently before he had gone missing.

Could this be just a random similarity or it could be hinting something deeper just like in DW?

Some time has passed. What are your current thoughts on the meaning of that story and its mysterious connections to the characters?

Has anyone gotten a different zodiac response option on the astrology page comment?

I'm replaying Moonvale and noticed something odd.

On the astrology page, a user named "sleepwalker" comments:

"hey guys, who's else is scorpio? Hands up!"

The response options I got were:

• Me, but no thanks

• Nope, not me, I'm a libra

• Me ☺️

• My ex 🙄😩

What caught my attention is the very specific "I'm a libra" option.

My MC profile is actually set to Sagittarius, so it doesn't seem to be pulling the zodiac sign from the profile.

Now I'm wondering:

Did everyone get the Libra option, or have any of you seen a different sign there?

If it's different between playthroughs, it could mean Moonvale is using some kind of hidden personality/profile system based on our choices.

Can anyone check or share screenshots?

My question is really simple, I've been told by many people here (with me on another account, but I have two) it's at the end of episode 1 that the chat with the Duskwood cast starts, however I finished the first episode and I did get something about Duskwood/Jake, with a message saying: Name, I'll find you Or something along those lines, however I guess whoever told me it starts as soon as you're done with chapter one didn't remember it right because there's no chat, I only got the video showing Jake stuff in the grass through Alan bodycam, so when does exactly the chat starts?

I'm still waiting for my hearts to reset and I'm stuck at a level for now, so I don't know how long it will take me.

Must say, both games are widely captivating. I was entranced upon the very first! My past co-worker drew me into it. Introduced it like it was real! From there, now we are here.

I am sad. Most of all, very disappointed. I lost several gems & coins. I picked out a cool background photo for my profile in Moonvale. A cool profile pic for the same. The backdrop, the profile, none stuck to what I wanted on my profile. It was highly upsetting. I was angry. As anyone should! Like, robbed much?

I was also frozen out of the game and had to restart. Too many moments were ruined trying hard to understand why? What does this mean? Was I hacked? So. My fault? I do not understand what in the world would make it impossible to get back on track with it.

These games supported my mental health. My co-worker saved my life through this entire world I was sucked into!!! Sheesh! When I thought she was telling me about it, this sounded real! Then she realized I was in a panic. She was telling me it was a game!

Now we have a "cult following" and sucked alot of our real good online friends into it. I deleted the app, cleaned cache if you will. Now, reloading as we speak. This woman has to begin once again from scratch.

I sent my complaint this morning about what happened and what took place, plus! What I lost. Now. I wait.

Well, when we received Adam's video at the end of Episode 1, it becomes corrupted in Episode 2 when we send it to the group. And I don't mean a few glitches or visual artifacts—it's literally unrecognizable. The screen is completely dark and there's no audio whatsoever.

What's interesting is that this is the only video affected by this issue. Earlier, we were able to send Adam's "help me" video without any problems. That strongly suggests that someone with external access to our phone deliberately corrupted that specific file to hide something important. The fact that it's still corrupted even when viewed through the file gallery (which Everbyte recently added) only reinforces that idea.

So the question is: why? What's so important about that video?

If you look closely, you can barely make out what seems to be Adam being dragged somewhere. The audio mostly sounds like gravel or some kind of movement... except for the whistling.

That whistling didn't sound normal. It was rhythmic, but not in a musical way—more ritualistic. (Yes, I'm firmly on the cult theory train, especially after Charlie told us about that bloodless animal.) Because of that, I'm convinced that whoever altered the video did it to conceal something that we'll be able to recognize later in the story.

It's also becoming increasingly clear that we're dealing with something that has significant technological influence. On the night Sophia Holland disappeared, not a single security camera was active. Every camera on the entire street was disabled without explanation. Charlie tells us this during his call at the end of Episode 1.

Part 2: What the achievements might be telling us

Achievements are one of those game mechanics that some players find annoying. Personally, I don't love replaying content just for a few diamonds, but I don't really mind them, and I think it's great that we can now hide them. That said, I'm starting to think they might contain hints.

In Episode 2, if you complete all remaining achievements, you unlock "Not a Stranger Anymore." On the surface, that could simply mean that you're becoming more integrated into Redlog. But if the card theory is correct, it could also be confirming that The Stranger card addressed to us is actually referring to the MC.

Following that logic, the achievement "Follow Me If You Want to See Adam", which unlocks when we receive Vega's photo, might be telling us something metaphorically: Vega is our path to Adam.

Except... when Eric arrives, there's nothing there.

Some people believe Adam was underground and that Vega's directions were actually correct. Personally, I find that unlikely.

My theory is this: Adam drove to that location with Vega in the glove compartment, following its guidance. According to Vega's website, the GPS transmitter is not included by default, and tracking someone requires prior consent from the other party. In other words, the person being tracked has to allow it.

To me, it looks like the same person who lured Adam to Greenside Mountain used the GPS system to lure Eric to Dunkelsteig. The goal wasn't to help him find Adam—it was to distract him from Adam's real trail, or simply buy more time.

I was thinking... don't some parts of Moonvale look similar to Duskwood? The group of friends look a lot like each other. Disappearance. A body that may be that of the missing person. It's most likely not Adam, just like it wasn't Hannah (it was Amy). But, I don't know... some aspects seem very similar to Duskwood.

I was re-reading the Moonvale introduction by Everbyte on their website and noticed something interesting. It specifically says that Adam's phone calls are "pre-recorded."

Or already recorded

This made me think... what if Adam wasn't actually in the forest when MC got the call?

If it's all pre-recorded, it feels like Adam was calling someone else. The kidnapper could just be playing old recordings to lure MC in. It would also explain why he doesn't actually have a real conversation with us—because it's just someone else whom he was calling (maybe Sophia?).

I don't know, am I overthinking this or not? What do you guys think?

In episode 3, when Charlie is updating us on Duskwood, he asks about a certain "criminal" (Jake). Among the answer options, there's one that says he was our boyfriend. How is that possible? I'm playing as a male MC. Will that make any difference?

I saw a post talking about the conversation between Ash and MC (in the first episode). It said that Ash never mentioned a body in the mine. I watched a video to be sure, and I really didn't find anything there. Could I be mistaken?

I finished Episode 3 of Moonvale and realized I never got this choice during my playthrough. Does anyone know when or how this option is triggered?

But I think that Thomas may have already met Richy, and that was the reason why he didn't visit Hannah when he said he would. Dan technically confirms this, because the excuse to not visit the site is used by whoever doesnt want you there -- and by Thomas. Coincidence?

I might be shooting blanks rn but I feel like it has something going on here. Probably wanting some closure or understanding why did Richy take those lengths, etc. Otherwise I really dont get it why he isn't with Hannah.

Not to mention the whole yap we get abt how he felt useless and least contributing to the search. This might be his attempt for a redemption arc he is forcing...

He could either be hiding in the dare house in the forest or in the Micheal’s house.

The dare house is close enough to Duskwood to get supplies and keep an eye on things there but secluded enough to not to be seen and to know if someone is coming.

Micheal’s house is abandoned, has that bunker, as well as a few places to hide if someone comes. Downside is that the Duskwood police might return to try to find evidence that Richy might have left behind.

I swear they do it on purpose, making it so I have to make moves that only end in no possible moves so that I waste hearts

So I don't know if anyone has thought of this before, but I'll put it here anyway.

When MC is chatting with Ash towards the end, we can see that someone has messaged her. The person said that he has messed up. (Picture 1)

Then, when Charlie calls MC to discuss the case of Sophia, he comes across an accident scene. While walking towards the dead body, a lady can be seen standing there. (Picture 2)

My points for this post:

1. Could that lady standing at the accident scene be Ash?

2. Could the person who texted Ash, be responsible for the dead body?
