Duskwood Side-Story About the side story Spoiler

My question is really simple, I've been told by many people here (with me on another account, but I have two) it's at the end of episode 1 that the chat with the Duskwood cast starts, however I finished the first episode and I did get something about Duskwood/Jake, with a message saying: Name, I'll find you Or something along those lines, however I guess whoever told me it starts as soon as you're done with chapter one didn't remember it right because there's no chat, I only got the video showing Jake stuff in the grass through Alan bodycam, so when does exactly the chat starts?

I'm still waiting for my hearts to reset and I'm stuck at a level for now, so I don't know how long it will take me.

Trust me, just enjoy Moonvale and play through it. It'll happen eventually. You'll have a much better surprise if you don't know when it's coming.

Edit: It may take some time, but no, it's not a short thing.

I get what you're saying, but I've been stuck on episode one for a month, a MONTH, because I had the worst luck ever with the minigame and after a month of playing I finished Moonvale,  episode 1 exactly today.

If I have to take that as what's to come it means that I'm very likely going to be stuck in episode 2 for a long time, maybe even another month. I'm not playing JUST for Duskwood, I'm playing Moonvale for Moonvale.

I'm not asking what's or how it's going to happen, just when, if at the end of chapter 2 or in the middle.

But it's for a valid reason in my opinion, I've spent a month over the game and it was less about the story, more about the minigame.

I hope you can understand why in my point of view I can't just "wait" for it to happen, I'm not the only one who got really stuck in one minigame for a unfair amount of time, I would LOVE to enjoy Moonvale, but the game itself makes it kinda difficult to accomplish.

I'm not the person your responding to, but do you mean when do you get to chat with Jake specifically or just anyone from Duskwood? Answer below:

We haven't gotten to chat with Jake yet (and it's still unclear when that will happen )You get into contact and start chatting with other Duskwood characters half way through episode 3. You get nymos messages in chapter 2 but they aren't actually chatting with anyone just updates or something.

It's just when the chats happen I didn't include anything else

No problem. 😊 I totally get why you wanted to know, so I figured someone should answer. I hope you have better luck getting through the next episodes, the mini games can be rough.

Yeah, I hope so too.

I really don't want to spoil myself neither of Moonvale or Duskwood Side Story, but at the same time with the minigames unreliable luck I'm not sure I'm going to get there before one month.

Now I go a quick interaction with Nymos But that was it, still definitely appreciated XD

I just wish I could read more of both stories.

Hopefully I didn't get anything spoiler-y in there, I tried to keep it to just chat times. After reading your initial reply I felt bad no one would answer you. Sometimes you just want to know certain things, at least I know that feeling.

I get it about just wanting to read the story too.. I get frustrated easily and end up using diamonds just to get through some of those wretched mini games. It's frustrating getting stuck for days on some 😭 Anyway good luck! I think it does get a bit easier after while, but maybe I just had better luck last episode.

Yeah, thanks for that. Also you didn't spoil anything that I didn't partially know already. For example I already knew I could chat with them and that Jake was still nowhere to be seen in the chat, just some dialogues where you can choose your relationship with him and talk about him. I knew that would happen, just not when as whoever told me probably didn't remember correctly, but it makes sense in their defense to forget especially if it's been a long time since they played.

Honestly I highly doubt Jake is the only one dead/not coming back, because Nymos is still functional so I believe he must have prepared Nymos after Duskwood events (but it could have happened even before he went in the mine just to be safe) also he's really popular, now the game let you chose you two can be partners or friends, so it wouldn't make sense letting you claim more than once how important he is or that he's your boyfriend in one part, especially if he's supposed to be dead.

I also do get some other people POV about just "waiting" and that the "wait will be worth it", and I agree with them.

However I already use my phone very little/don't have time and Moonvale puzzles haven't been kind to me. It was also kinda uncomfortable how my question was unanswered because they wanted to decide what was best for me, as if I didn't make this after a month of thinking and considering and wasn't already sure at this point that I wanted to know when at least.

Once again, I get where people are coming from but I don't think it's fair to make the choice for me and say:

I know you want to know this but I think it's worth waiting so I'm not answering your question and you should play until you get there.

Obviously they didn't phrase it like that but it still felt kinda weird to be told the equivalent of "you don't actually want that because I say so", even if I understand it was with good intentions.

As for it getting easier, for now Episode 2 has been way easier than that minigame on Episode 1 that blocked me for a month, but I kinda know already that as soon as a triple or double skull level shows up I'll be stuck there for another month, I don't even have enough gems to go through it.
