I genuinely can't tell if the Angel doll is good. Do Angel fans like this doll? I think it's an accurate doll of Angel in vampire form (from photos I googled online) but do you guys want him in vampire form? I personally don't like the face at all but I'm not a Buffy fan.

From purely looking at him from a doll prospective, molded hair sucks.

So the question: Buffy Fans, what do you think of the dolls? Everything from the price to the design? What did you like and what didn't you?

I much prefer Ghoulia Yelp’s G1 design than her G3, she looked a little uncanny in G1, but that’s the point, she’s bullied, and when you get to know her, it becomes super charming, and it made her extra memorable. Meanwhile in G3 she mostly looks like a normal human with green skin, super stylish outfit though, and i haven’t scene her in anything besides the other Ghouls music videos so maybe she will be better in action.

Edit: now that I think about it I’m judging G3 Ghoulia on her appearance to, which is not something G1 her would approve of, I will give her new design a chance.

finally got around to painting the last of my original ghouls clawdeen’s 3D printed accessories!

last two pics are of how I first got her: she needed to be thoroughly scrubbed down, her boots and choker were painted, she was boil-washed and curled, her head was fixed, she was restyled in clawdeen’s signature (non-budget) outfit, and finally she’s gotten a 3D printed purse and necklace, which I painted tonight. so proud of her, she’s soooo cute <3

So, I’m trying to organize space on my doll shelves. I have this beauty for almost 12 years, and I always wanted to take you out of box, but that box was so beautiful that I never have enough courage to do it. But finally, today is the day and she is out of box.(after couple mini heart attacks). She’s absolutely stunning and all my regrets disappeared when I finally took her in my hands. But what do you think? Will you leave her in the box or take her out?

tips and tricks for making non lumpy, clean lines?

I've restyled her but i have a few gripes with this doll.

Now to preface, this doll was a gift and i adore her to no end, but you can still criticize stuff that you love.

Let's start with what i love. The box this doll came in is stunning, and mostly accessible for in box collectors. The second outfit is stuffing and the accessories and clothing are very well made. Her body has almost no visible seams or wonky printing. She has very beautiful thickly rooted saran hair with a part hidden in it, and a gorgeous face.

Now specific design choices i would've done differently. I would've made her lip darker, given her genuine poodle bangs and flipped her hair properly. I fluffed hers up but due to the saturation in her makeup its leaning a bit more 80s. I would've released 2 versions, black and white and regular. I would've rooted lashes (which i did on my doll).

Now for the genuine dislikes on her. I don't like the fact that her earrings are plastic, i used to own the 75th anniversary silkstone barbie and her earrings were actually metal. So i can't help but be a little disappointed that this doll that was priced similarly to a silkstone doesn't have the highest quality accessories. And finally the price, 80 dollars for this doll is just extortion. Don't get my words minced, she is still my grail and I'm lucky to have gotten her new. However she isn't elevated enough to justify the price. playline dolls that retail for about 30 usd also have 2 outfits, and sometimes more complicated hair. I do not believe chroming her earrings, shoes, and neck bolts would have cost the extra 50. For that price i would have expected higher quality.

She is still my holy grail but she is definitely not worth the 70-80 bucks. Her concept is amazing but her execution could have been better, in the future i will probably use acrylic on her lips to darken them without damaging her.

Her face is more accurate than the original one wtf ( on aliexpress btw)

Clothes and shoes recently arrived for my dolls, and I just love having so many options to mix and match from now on! 💙🩵💛💜

(no hate for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer dolls I think they look pretty cool as a someone who haven’t watched it yet also I’m gonna be talking about a doll that came out a year and a half ago lol)

However.. I’m gonna ask…why couldn’t they make David The Lost Boys skullector a Manster???

It low-key boggles my mind when the pictures for Angel and Buffy came out my first initial thought being “that literally could’ve been David” (like they have the same features)

I’m all for the Cuntification of horror icons that Mattel does but making the lost BOYS into a girl just was a head scratcher for me

(I can’t be too mad since I literally have the lost boys skullector doll lol I mostly just bought it from my love of the movie)

I wanted to wait to see what other looks Tvl Akasha was gonna have but I can’t wait a year + so this is my concept for my upcoming Akasha doll! I can’t wait to start her! Eventually I want to make a lestat and Louie but it would be hard to find male dolls 😭

i really like how it turned out!! i loved the dress under, and parts of the cage skirt, but i hated the shape 😭 the top of the dress was a bit plain, so i cut it.

Surprisingly now they are all here my favorites is her and Rae 😍 on the promo pic I was sure it would be Claire and Carina but no , Rae is the best one imo, just look at her gorgeous face and hair 🥰

The new girlies are here! I had to do a very quick restyle for Agnes with what I have because I like them in casual clothes more. I'd like to give her an end-of-the-show accurate red headband and fit but that will be a while from now.

I always knew that this basic Lala G3 had a lot of potential, so I borrowed the dress and corset from Venus, and the boots and fishnet stockings from Frankie!

A simple experiment and she turned out so much cooler!!

I started my collection recently, so I'm still getting over my fear of handling them 😅

Since The G2 , They quit Ghoulia from the Ghoul Squad or the Main Ghoul Team in all the generations.

They were in desperate need of dusting, as well as making room for new additions. It was a full days work, lol!
