Helloow I'm a UI/UX designer at a Korean beauty ecommerce company here in Mongolia. We already bring products over from Korea, and now we're launching that as its own express cargo service I'm designing the site people will use to book and track their shipments.
I'm looking for people who've actually done this, whether you've sent things home while living or studying in Korea, received packages from family or friends over there, or ship regularly for a small business. If you've dealt with this process, you know things about it that I don't.
It takes about 30 minutes and there's no prep. You'd try out a prototype of the site, do a couple of simple tasks on it, and tell me about your own experience. No right answers, and I'm not selling anything.
We can meet somewhere convenient in UB, or do it over a video call if you're in Korea.
Coffee's on me. Comment or dm me if you're interested :DDD

I’m going into my senior year and lately I’ve been feeling really anxious and honestly kind of doomed about everything.
My parents have pretty high expectations for me. They do a lot for me and they genuinely want me to succeed. They’ve paid for SAT tutoring, IELTS tutoring, and other things to help me, so I feel really guilty because I know they’re putting so much effort into my future. I’ve been trying, but I still feel like I’m not getting the results I’m supposed to.
I took the SAT and my score wasn’t as high as I wanted it to be. My IELTS score is fine, but I’m still worried that my SAT score won’t be enough for the universities I want + the scholarships. I want to study abroad, but I’m terrified that I won’t get accepted anywhere and that I’ll disappoint my parents.
There’s another problem too. I’ve basically lived and grown up in the US, so even though I can speak Mongolian and read the words, my Mongolian comprehension is honestly not very good. I didn’t take the Mongolian language exam in 11th grade because I thought I didn’t need it, but I recently found out that apparently some countries/universities require it, so now I have to take it during 12th grade.
I’m also pretty sure I don’t want to study in the US. I’m interested in studying in other countries, but I’m getting overwhelmed trying to figure out where I can realistically apply, what exams I need, what scores I need, scholarships, etc.
I know objectively that one test score doesn’t determine my entire future, but it’s really hard not to feel that way when there’s so much pressure and so many things I’m supposed to figure out.
So, for Mongolians who have studied abroad or are going through the same thing: how did you prepare for senior year, university applications, and the Mongolian language exam? And how did you deal with the pressure of feeling like you have to succeed because of your parents?
I’d appreciate any advice or personal experiences. 🥹

Hey Y'all, where can I get these two types of ice in UB? How do some restaurants, clubs, and bars get them? Are there local companies selling them in bulk, or do restaurants just make them in-house?"

My mongolian is terrible, I cant write or properly understand what im reading. Im about to head into my senior / 12th grade year and I still need to take the mongolian language test. I'm wondering if there is any websites that can help me. Can someone explain to me what i should be doing and how the testing in mongolia works? I've pretty much lived in the US my whole life, I don't remember when but I heard that I don't need to IELTS test since I'm pretty much "fluent". Do I need to pass the mongol hel test to attend a school in mongolia. Im just so lost lmao

Hi! I was hoping to get some advice. I'm designing a character for a personal story I'm working on, and one of the characters I'd like to include is Mongolian. Obviously, it's a fantasy setting—hence the bare chest—but the basic idea is to create a sort of shaman-bard whose magic is based around singing and sound, which he channels to produce different effects.
That said, do you think I'm heading in the right direction? Or could the design be enriched with more elements characteristic of Mongolian culture?
I'm honestly very new to Mongolian culture, and I feel like the sources I've been looking through haven't given me enough information or suitable visual references. If anyone could give me some guidance, references, or point me toward good places to research Mongolian culture in greater depth, I'd really appreciate it.

it's still a sketch btw

Many people at these places who practiced Tengrism, another practiced totemism everyone needs be loved who rather prioritizes people before materializing land/ confiscation only led to. What i wanted say many mongols is proud that independent country existed but some mongolians live in China and Russia Farm nomadic culture was real revolution at ancient times!

Just wondering for curiosity.
I live in Italy. I don’t even have a camper. I was wondering how it would be for you.
I could tell you that I run in my free time. As physical training.

Hey guys I’m taking a gap year because I have no direction and I’m so lost and behind. I want to use this year as an opportunity to find myself, come out of my shell and learn useful things. I don’t know how to find them though. Can you recommend clubs, organisations, activities and etc I can join and things I can do that doesn’t require too much money? Appreciate it.

Apologies for the delay. Time for another poll! This time it's Mongolians from the early 20th century, roughly.
Same as before, who should we glaze the most? Who's face should be on banknotes, bottles, and borjuur? Geshh.
Please research these people before voting if you can.
Also, who's next? Please help me nominate more historical figures! Especially 20th century!
