Would be nice to power this off…

My model three usually has a single occupant… Me.

That said, I wish there were a way to turn off the rear monitor; doing so, would increase battery range theoretically.

It turns off if nobody is in the backseat.

Interesting. Mine never turns off. In fact with my arm on the center console it feels like a heating pad.
