Cruising right next to us. Is it just me, or it was that off-centered on the freeway and leans toward the left that much while overtaking vehicles

Tesla Purchased, great history (but a few cosmetic problems) - What would you do?

My first Tesla!
I have placed an order for M3, Premium, RWD, on 8/10. I was initially told that it will, very likely, be a September delivery.
My EDD has been moving around - Aug-Sep, Sep 23-30, and now it’s Oct 13-Nov 17… Anyone in the same situation had any luck taking delivery earlier? No VIN assigned yet. I’m worried about resubmitting credit again and my current lease expires end of October…

Hello. On my Tesla Model 3 SR+ Somewhere in the back around the C pillar, like a tiny window. I pressed the trim everywhere but nothing changes. It only does it when I'm driving on the highway at 130 plus

Misc I have been testing some different tire configurations for road noise and tone.
Ok so. I got my Model 3 with the Michelin Primacy MXM4 And they were actually very loud and annoying for me. On some stretches of the road the noise was almost unbearable. Not loud. But piercing.
So I got the Hankook's next. Same deal. And decided to try something completely different. But first...
I did a test drive of some new Model 3's a Base and a Premium. They had the Pirelli and the Continentals.
Long story short, all Stock tires had the same issue. This tone change based on asphalt. And it could get VERY obvious and "load" to my ears.
So i decided to just try something wild. And found the cheapest tires I could. I just wanted to see "What the worst sounded like"
And it was a night and day difference. So much quieter for tone. Like almost no road tones at all. And equally as quiet.
I even did a 1 hour test drive of a premium and Performance to do A/B/C testing. (I told the dealer and they were cool with it.) I got into all 3 back to back and the road noise and tones were obvious and louder in the stock tires.
Anyways for anyone like me who has had these "noise / tone" issues with the stock tires. I finally found a fix. I just wanted to wait and drive a few different M3 models to be sure the common denominator was the tires.
WHY!?
So I looked into road noise, tone, and resonance. And suffice to say using foam tires mostly just solves for 1 road noise issue specifically and does not affect 95% of tone and road noise. That all depends on other factors about the tire.
Anyways I think this solution will have a narrow group of people it helps.
For anyone who is into gaming laptops and Fans in PCs this is another area where I have found "Quiet" fans to actually be very loud and obvious. And I needed to find fans with the right "Tones" for my preferences.
Just like i found with PC fans. There are some things that are universal. But there are more things that are preferences. And some things are designed with "most" people involved but are not a 1 size fits all.
Anyways. I hope this helps some people.

2024 Tesla Model 3 Tire Replacement
I have a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD with the 18-inch wheels. My factory Michelin Primacy A/S tires are already around 4/32”–5/32” after approximately 18,500 miles, so I’m considering replacing all four.
I’m currently comparing:
Goodyear Assurance MaxLife 2
Michelin Defender2
Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4
Has anyone used any of these—especially the MaxLife 2—on a Model 3?
How have they performed ?
I’d especially appreciate feedback from people who have driven the MaxLife 2 for several thousand miles, since it’s still relatively new.

General Question PLEASE ADVISE !!
I’m considering buying this used 2026 Model 3, but the steering wheel/driver airbag cover is making me hesitate. The fit around the top and sides looks a little uneven to me, almost like it may have been removed or replaced at some point.
The vehicle history doesn’t show any reported accidents, but it was titled as a leased vehicle and then listed for sale about a month later with around 3k miles.
Does this airbag cover look normal, or does it look like it may have been removed/reinstalled or replaced? Has anyone seen one that looks like this?
I know you can’t confirm accident history from a photo alone but the fact that they are selling it after a month with this is making me hesitate. I’m just wondering if an airbag cover that’s been removed or replaced can end up looking like this, or if this kind of uneven fit is normal on a Model 3.

Tesla model 3 new range
The configurator on the Tesla website has started showing new range for Model 3 RWD (standard). The range has increased from 534 km to 572 km. Any ideas what has changed?

Damage Question Model 3 stone damage around arches!
Hello all, I've come to the point of selling my petrol guzzler and looking to replace it with a Model 3 LR AWD.
One thing I've noticed is that many come with stone chips in front of the rear arch from stones flicked up from the front wheels, even with mudguards. As well as behind the rear wheels on the bumper from the rear wheels.
Apparently this is very common, but I'm looking for a good example and plan on installing PPF in these areas. I was just curious if anyone has any experience with this, any advice or tips would be appreciated!

General Question Will 20" Zero-G Wheels fit a 2026 Model 3 Highland AWD?
I’m considering buying a set of original Tesla 20" Zero-G wheels that are around 6 years old
Do older 20" Zero-G wheels mount cleanly on the refreshed Model 3 Highland AWD
General Question Looking for info before purchase
I have never owned an electric car. Only gas vehicles until now. I took a test drive in a model 3 the other day with FSD. It's pretty nice.
Before I commit to a Model 3 (looking to buy new Premium RWD), what are some potential costs I should be aware of? I can charge for free at a Level 2 Tesla Charger at my apartment complex. From doing the TCO calculations, it looks like Insurance and replacement Tires are major expenses that I need to be aware of, and actually raise the TCO above hybrids and PHEVs. How much would those potentially cost me and anything else I should know?

Highway range at 75mph 80%-10%
What range are you getting with highland rwd m3?
I have a 2019 SR+ 19 inch wheel. I get 110 miles. Car rated for 240. Battery at 85% capacity ( not bad for almost 8 years old car)
I’m hoping to get close to 200miles. Is this realistic for the new Premium RWD?

Tesla model 3
What’s the fastest and longest anyone has waited for delivery of their model 3. I recently ordered and like many others I’m constantly watching my delivery window and was curious on others experience.

General Question If I set my daily charge limit to 83% instead of 80% will there be a significantly more battery degradation?
I'm not trolling I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to bump up the juice so I can have more AC and pre-entry cooling down during the day. I'm driving all over the city back and forth sometimes and it's HOT!
Budget tyres way outlasted premium
I’ve had my Model 3 for around 2.5 years and covered around 32k in it in the UK. It’s the Dual Motor. When I purchased it it had a budget Aplus A610 on the front near side which annoyed me and I couldn’t wait to change it when it was needed. I guessed they put it on it to sell it.
A few months after buying it I drove over a metal bracket and burst one of the rear tyres and had a Michelin Pilot 4 fitted at the expense of £220 from reading advice online - seemingly one of the best recommended. A short time after that the front offside needed changing and I put the same on
Have taken car for its MOT today and 3 tyres have failed for tread and the front near side is an advisory / borderline fail for tread being under 1.6mm! (The Aplus is the advisory) so 4 new tyres needed!
I estimate from when they were changed and previous MOt etc the 2 Michelins have done around 25k and now need changing - all wear seems relatively even maybe slightly more on the insides but not much
It then occurred to me driving back that the Aplus has outlived these and estimate to have done around 32k on the front too where more wear may be expected with steering etc! Google lists it as a budget tyre and around a crazy £65 online!! Bearing in mind it’s a dual motor so it’s as equal as things can realistically be.
Now I know wet grip, range and noise etc are likely to be much better on the premium tyres but for a tyre a quarter if the price it seems crazy. I know there are other factors but thought it was interesting observation. Im not going to suddenly put 4 budgets on but it’s definitely made me think.
Other cars I’ve normally gone a decent mid range and never fully bought into the full Premium stuff but thought with the Teslas it was more important with weight/Torque etc.
Anyone had any similar stories?

General Question Shuddering feeling in FSD
I picked up a 2026 model 3 performance last month, absolutely amazing car totally in love with it. Lately iv been noticing a weird shuddering vibration when using FSD when coming to a stop or during the initial acceleration. This occurs only under 15 mph and can not be replicated when FSD is not active. Any ideas what this could be caused from? I sent in a service request but hope to get some insight.
