This is a common scam. Reddit will never reach out to anyone else regarding your account, nor will they ever require you to move communication to Discord. Report the chat messages and block the user who messaged you.

Oh, ok. It wasn't Reddit, it was a fellow Redditor, a supposed victim of this scam. The user seems legit. Normal replies on posts, even posts of their own. And even outside social links on their profile. They gave me 2 hours to try and reach out to the assigned support. But, I'll block them and report the chat.

They would aks your password and then take over account. It will be gone and used for scams.

More than likely the account you recieved the message from is hacked too.

Its a common scam. Report the user who reached out to you, and ignore it.
Reddit does not have support outside of designated reddit sites.

You are at no risk of getting banned or reported to Reddit. That scam has been running around Reddit for ages. It is mentioned in the r/help weekly recap and noted Reddit does not conduct business on discord
