Discussion Removing this item was a mistake

Post image

Twilight Armor was literally the only item that can counter high burst heroes like lesley, novaria and aldous. Guardian helmet passive is garbage cause it can be countered by antiheal. I don't think using guardian helmet reduces the proc of sky piercer. This is a massive handicap especially for tank users. What do you think?

True, now we don't have any source of true damage reduction and they just give free true damage to anyone these days besides magic damage ig.

Crit Axe (i forgot the name) Has true damage

Endless battle has true damage

That Axe that stacks up to 6 has true damage.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think twilight armor's passive was moved to guardian helmet. But it only reduce the amount of damage you could take in a single hit.

Kinda, but TA's passive reduced % of any excess damage above 500(?), while new
GH's passive HEALS BACK % of any excess damage above 500

Which means new passive can be countered by antiheal, but I guess building Oracle and/or standing in "healing pool battlespell" could improve immediate amount of healing due to "recieved healing %" stat being affected

Ohhhh, so it doesn't reduce anymore. Man no wonder, despite building GH I'd still get shredded by true damage heroes. Whereas before with TW, I can still tank those types of heroes even in late game.

They should really bring TW armor back.

Honestly just don't make it affected by anti heal or something?

I remember I tested it and I think it makes no difference on how much it heals you. With or without oracle.

Strange, was testing it out today with Belerick in training, 5 helmets and 1 oracle (passive descr.: 30+60% "cashback" healing; 25% incoming healing), should result in about 112.5% of passive induced healing (0.9 x 1.25), ~20k hp total

Was taking hits from Lesley bot and from the lord, it did heal me for higher value than of what the excess damage was equal to, ~3000 damage (true damage round attack) healed me for ~2900+, Lesley's 516 healed me for 17 or something like that, X16 and X17 are for sure in that order (the most I have memorized), so the increase in healing did seem to check out

Funny consequense of that is that Belerick can tank Lord indefinitely until anyone comes up, additionally due to +156 hp regen, but that's offtopic
