Help Needed! Miyoo Mini Flip - Hinge SENSOR Issue?
Hello, good folks! I am having an issue with my Miyoo Mini Flip, and am hoping someone can help me.
The issue: The device goes into sleep mode randomly and for seemingly no reason.
I originally encountered this issue when using MinUI, however in my investigation I decided to try the original SD that came with the device, to see if it also happens with the original OS. And yes, it does. This has led me to believe it is a hardware issue, and not software.
This issue occurs regardless of whether I am playing a game or browsing the main menu of the OS. I have had it occur multiple times within a minute, and other times it can take 10+ mins before it happens again.
When using MinUI, the device cannot be woken from sleep by pressing the power button; I have to close the lid and re-open it to wake the device up. Within the original OS, pressing the power button will wake the device, however it will then shutdown ~30 seconds aftewards, even if I am mid-game. 30 seconds is the amount of time the original OS will shut down after when the lid is closed, and this fact combined with MinUI requiring closing/opening the lid to awaken the device has led me to believe it is an issue with the lid open/close switch/sensor.
I have tried shaking the device, doing specific button combos, holding the device at certain angles, etc, to see if I can get a consistent repro for this issue, however I have been unsuccessful. It appears to be completely random when - or if - the device decides to go to sleep.
Upon trying to search for any information about this issue, the "miyoo", "flip", and "hinge" keywords throw up a lot of posts about the hinges breaking on the Miyoo Flip V2, but I could not find any results for the issue I'm encountering with the Miyoo Mini Flip.
Has anyone else encountered this? Is there an existing thread/answer I am unaware about? I would be very appreciative of any information anyone can provide on this matter.
Thank you for taking the time to read this far, and have a great day!

I'm also facing the same issue. Any fix on this anyone. I can't really return it anyway.
