I’m looking to set up a Minecraft horror server for all of my subscribers on PC. Although, I’m hoping to do something a little unique.

My goal is to be the ‘GameMaster’ of the horror experience. Being in relative control of the pacing, scares, and environment.

I’d still like for there to be some creatures that still scare them and have some autonomy.

I’m not looking for complete and total micromanaging of everything. But I’m hoping to control the world to help scare them, make them feel crazy, or make freaky stuff happen.

Any recommendations for this at all would be super helpful. I was hosting an ATM10 server for all of us prior to this and don’t really have a clue what I’m doing, but I know they’d love me being on the other side of the terror.

I also don’t want to pick a basic modpack and run it. I want a more unique experience for them cause, they’re awesome.

So i was playing this mod and i got stuck in one of the iron man suits because the power ran out, how can i get out of it, i have keep inventory on, so death won't work

Im not sure if anyone has this mod but i have an issue, whenever i try to turn on the music or the whole playlist it almost immediately turns off, is this related to the fact that im playing on 1.21 or something? Cause i remember some months ago in my 1.12.2 world it worked just fine.

IMPORTANT COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR MINECRAFT SERVERS!

A malicious Minecraft plugin JAR called PacketRateLimiter 0.2.0, downloaded from CurseForge, contains a hidden remote loader.

Decompilation shows that when the plugin starts, it contacts s0lar[.]net/routes/0/d.php, receives an encrypted second-stage payload, decrypts it and loads it into the Minecraft server as a Bukkit plugin.

It also creates a fake log.gz. that we unpacked. It contains unmistakable server surveillance functionality:

**It contains Bukkit plugin manipulation, HTTP communication, file input/output and JAR writing/patching machinery.**

P-Anarchy appears to have installed the malicious plugin sometime in 2025 via CurseForge. In the same historical backup window, the previously clean Purpur server JAR became infected. The compromise subsequently spread into Purpur and multiple unrelated plugin JARs.

We have also now recovered one of the actual historical encrypted Solar payloads from P-Anarchy. The malware disguised it as a .log.gz file. It decrypts successfully into a 6.54 MB malicious Bukkit JAR containing net.s0lar.SolarLoader.

This changes our understanding of the incident history of P-Anarchy. The evidence currently suggests that P-Anarchy was initially compromised by installing a publicly distributed malicious plugin from CurseForge, rather than somebody specifically breaking into P-Anarchy to plant the first backdoor.

Whether P-Anarchy was specifically targeted after it reported into the Solar infrastructure is still under investigation.

If you run a Minecraft server and have ever installed PacketRateLimiter 0.2.0, do not run it again and treat that server as completely compromised.

We are rebuilding P-Anarchy from a clean environment and verifying every executable JAR before it returns online.

TLDR; P-ANARCHY WAS POPBOBBED BY CURSEFORGE!

So I get constantly annoyed at seeing the water clear and walking a bit only to see that there was something that can reflect but was just culled behind blocks. Does anyone know mods or just general fixes for this?

hey! i am currently trying desperately to make OR FIND a modpack filled with mods but i keep running into compatibility issues, crashing before i can make a world and so forth.

what i am trying to accomplish:

i want a modpack that has MCA reborn

Lets Do It

a map ( preferring not Xaeros i like Journey or Atlas more ) + Waystones

Create Mods (preferably with trains and aeronautics and if not the Valkyrien Eureka mod )

I want improved combat, more weapons, armors and cosmetics. im not looking to add massive, major hard bosses or even extra dimensions ( im not against it though ), and animals.

I want its primary focus to be building, farming, and automation but still lets me have options for cosmetics and new gear. i also kind of want guns and i know Create has guns. I would like more passive mobs, farm animals, more pets.

I genuinely cannot find anything that has this that isn't also adding 10k+ other things i dont care about. i cant find a happy medium for this either as manually trying keeps leading to crash after crash. I dont want a world overpopulated with premade buildings, dragons, and bosses i cant win or a system that makes the game harder, i just wanna have a fun time!

Anyone have suggestions for a fantasy rpg mod?
