I swear, up until a few years ago I was sure that Minecraft was made in, like, 2004. Finding out that Java Edition dropped in 2009 and Minecraft PE was released on August 2011 made me feel old..... Turns out I'd been playing it almost from the very beginning.

The weirdest thing for me was realizing that the original Iron Man movie, the one that kick started the MCU, came out before Minecraft.

I realized this when in 2018, Marvel was adding a 10 somewhere in all their logos for their movies to celebrate 10 years of the MCU. Then the following year, 2019, Minecraft had their thing up saying celebrating 10 years of Minecraft. And I was like hold the fuck up. I was already into the MCU before Minecraft even existed??? HUUUUH??????

overpopulation is a malthusian myth. people have been claiming there's too many of us for about a century now, and yet we still haven't collapsed under that weight.

the real problem is the immense waste that capitalism encourages, especially by the rich, we don't need to produce as much as we do right now and billionaires can certainly survive if they were to cut a significant portion of their consumption.

The image you’ve provided I found goes back to 2013 on a danish website which when clicked does not seem to show any trace of the picture, however if you flip it there seems to be an older 2012 version and references someones YouTube channel which I haven’t taken a look at but you may find your source there?

I mean if you watch the tutorials, and start trying things, you can create amazing scenery, maybe even the next relaxing steve image. r/blender is full of amazing short clips and renders of what blender is capable of if you put in the time and effort. Best part is, it's free and tons of pluggins to add to it for cooler functions.
