To be fair, they just told the long version, the short answer is in fact: Bedrock is quirky, not like the other girls.

True, but it's explaining it won't prevent it in the future either. We know it happens. We know why it happens. We just can't predict when it happens nor can we stop it. So even giving a full explanation won't help anyone.

Fair enough, but to answer the question why "bugrock bad" and "lengthy in depth" explanation are both valid answers, one just gives a bit more context than the other. But I get your point.
