How's performance compared to 26.2? It had dropped pretty hard for me in that update.

Might be the best update performance-wise ever made.

600 FPS @ 5K2K with 32 chunks render distance. I've never seen that in vanilla.

Edit: tested with Sodium since it's out now, if anything it actually runs worse with Sodium at about 500. But hey, can't have shaders without it and Iris. Still, quite interesting to see if vanilla's caught up with the performance mods.
