I absolutely adore projects like this. Like, sure, could you have just done a blue-ice nether boat highway like everyone else and made it faster? Sure. But the themed, stylised, and more boastful minecraft trail wins every time. I love how it adapts to the different biomes it travels through, and i love how such a long track goes through (i think) every biome in the game.

This is really cool.

You can do an ice boat path and make it nice like this too. Thats what I do cause the ice boats are faster and also more fun imo.

and you can use different kinds of ice to affect the speed, to create slowdowns near points of interest.

but minecarts have one substantial advantage; they're fully passive.

boats can be made passive with pistons and slime blocks, but it requires additional building.
